MRS. CAROLYN CURRY

Services for Mrs. Carolyn Winefred Curry, 48, 316 N. Independence avenue, who died Sunday afternoon in St. Anthony hospital after a brief illness, will be held at 9 a.m. today at the Fitzgerald funeral home, 626 West Jefferson street. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.

Mrs. Curry was the widow of Police Officer Martin H. Curry, who died in 1940. She was born in Dixon, Jan. 22, 1899, and spent most of her life in Rockford. She attended schools here and was employed at the Nelson hotel.
Surviving are two sons, Martin H., Chicago, and Albert E., Bremerton, Wash; her mother, Mrs. Harriet Fish; a sister, Mrs. J. F. Lester; a brother, Loyal E. Fish, all of Rockford, and a granddaughter, Suzanne Curry.
