Platoon Exeval Train up 28 November 2000
This train up was planned by SFC Eynon, SSG Weeks, and 1LT Park, for the entire C company. The training definitely paid off in our performance the following week, in the actual Platoon Exeval.  In some ways, the platoon got more out of this "train -up" than the actual EXEVAL.

SSG Porter giving his orders to Team Leaders SGT Cook and SPC Verdeck.
This was the first COLD field exercise of the year.
Members of 1st Squad, under SSG Porter posing during a lull in heavy combat.  I apologize for the bad focus. Digital camera is clearly not intended for the field environment.
PVT Kirk with SGT Smith, sporting his "Britney Spears Mike" for his ICOM radio
SPC Verdeck (center) with his team members, SPC Orellana (L), and PFC Burgett, during movement to sunset
PVT Comly contemplating his next move
A double photo set of SGT Crenshaw taken during a lull in heavy fire fight.  He is adjusting his team's sector of fire...   PV2 Lim, the new KATUSA is to his right.
PVT Kirk, posing a second before dumping his rucksack in his new fighting position.
1LT Park conferring with SSG Weeks, the acting PSG, on the merits of frontal bayonet thrust versus overhead butt stroke during a lull in combat.
CPL Lee, the platoon senior KATUSA, following the footsteps of SGT Jo, and SGT Bang...
SSG Porter, SPC Verdeck, and SGT Smith, the workhorses of RAIDER platoon.  SPC Verdeck was the pointman for almost the entire platoon EXEVAL.
Medic Langford seeking protection next to PVT Gaither, the senior machinegunner.  Check out his M-240B medium machinegun.
