This year's Squad External Evaluations (SQD EXEVAL) served to bond the platoon as a real fighting unit. Our squads, the first and the second, performed the best in the battalion, according to our battalion commander.
SSG Porter led the 1st Squad in its fine performance, as did SSG Kyle with his second squad. The Weapons squad under SSG Fawcett (who has since become a Platoon Sergeant in Alpha company) was split up to support the two line squads for the duration of the exercise.
