Denver kid AnnaSophia Robb stars in three movies coming out in the next 10 months. How many actors can say that?

I talked to her in London this week, where she's spending the summer and fall filming Tim Burton's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," a more faithful take on the Roald Dahl book than the "Willy Wonka" version.

She plays Violet, the girl who chews too much gum and turns into a blueberry. The movie stars Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp.

"He's a really cool, normal guy," says Robb. "He's pretty funny. And he likes to talk."

Also on Robb's plate: "American Girls: Samantha" debuts with Robb as Samantha and Mia Farrow as her grandma on WB in November. "Because of Winn-Dixie" opens in February, starring Robb with Jeff Daniels, Eva Marie Saint, Cicely Tyson and Dave Matthews.

After "Charlie" wraps in next month, Robb returns to Denver. "I really miss it there," she says. "I miss my dog, Bella. I miss her so much."

Her mom, Janet Robb, won't say what else is on the fire. But we haven't seen the first or the last of this kid.
