Carrie's London Adventures - Part 3
Well hello once again. I hear the weather over there is pretty cold. It is swealtering in London...really clammy and not nice. Good opportunity to wear my new skanky tops, though :) London is amazing. Wow, I have a bleeding nose now. It's THAT hot. Be right back....
Ok...it's stopped. Well, we've been doing so much over here. Went to the dungeon and had the daylights scared outta me- the only way I can describe it is museum crossed with a horror house. It was honestly one of the scariest things I've ever seen in my life. Also got the opportunity to catch up with Anita Funnell who  was 7th form at Girls' High last year and now lives in London. Was good to have someone who knew the area to teach a few of us how to use the public transport system, which is efficient but hot and smells either like urine or vomit. The pubs here are pretty good- have been drinking a bit of Guiness and trying to chat up the Irish guys. Have not been able to see Les Mis yet- will do that on Saturday if all goes to plan...there are so many shows here at the moment and I get really excited whenever I see the posters in the underground stations. The other day we started out workshops at the Globe, the education director, Patrick Spottiswoode is so talente d, funny and rather cute for a man in his late 30s/early 40s. Apparently he has a partner..damn.
Going into the theatre for the first time was an amazing experience, it seems so much smaller and much more colourful than in the photographs. It was fantastic. Yesterday we watched Richard the II- my first groundling experience. I got a good place at the front where I could lean on the stage. By the end of the play the wood underneath me was soaking because I was crying so much. AHHH they always get me!! On Friday I'm seeing 'Edmond' starring Kenneth Branaugh (oh god, he's so hot!), which from what I've heard is going to be very violent...which will be a good change after seeing 'Richard II'.
The shopping here is so groin-grabbingly good, the girls went to Camden Market and spent a lot of money. I'm almost out :(

Ok this may be confusing, it's now Saturday afternoon. I saved the e-mail message because I didn't have enough time to finish it. Well, I've just been to seen Les Mis at the Palace theatre and I have to say that I'm extremely dissapointed. The show was terrible. Feel very sad right now. Caught up with Liz and Anna the other night which was heaps of fun but now am in a little bit of trouble for going out. For those in Annie, how are your rehearsals going? and my school-chums, how are your holidays going? London once again, is bloody hot. All the time, I keep waking up at 5 in the morning in a hot sweat. Last night I saw KENNETH BRANAUGH in 'Edmond' at the National Theatre. We saw his penis. hehe the play was great though, violent and disturbing but really, really good. 'Richard III' with an all female cast was fantastic, Kathryn Hunter who played Richard turned him into such a comic character. Was thoughroughly enjoyable. Tomorrow will be having a BBQ with Anna and Liz an d hopefully will catch up with Anita Funnell again. Well, once again my nose is bleeding. This is the second time it's happened while writing an e-mail. Internet cafes, eh?

well almost out of time, so all I have to say is...
BYE!!

Carrie, signing out...*poof*
