Breathtaking Artwork
by Margareth Swiertok
In July I received an e-mail from
artist Margareth Swiertok. She'd attached
several photo files of her work; I was immediately
smitten!
Margareth is an artist of the
highest
caliber. She works on approval
from photos and her prices
are comparable to other professional
equine artists (a 20x25" oil
painting costs around $400-500,
a 10x15" pastel $200-250,
a 7x10" watercolor
$200-250; prices are in American
currency and all of Margareth's work
is delivered in meticulously
hand crafted frames.
Margareth's e-mails bespeak of
a
delightful person who is totally dedicated
to her work. I'm very happy to
help publicize her lovely artwork here
in North America.

Remember: Margareth's work is
far
more intricate than my low-resolution
scans can possibly reproduce.
From the back of Margareth's brochure (reproduced above).
Unfortunately, my trusty old Mac doesn't feature a
Polish font,so please understand I'm 'translating'):
"Matgorzata Swiertok is an absolvent of Institute of
Art in
Czestochowa. Author of exhibitions in Poland
and Europe. Her works are in private collections in USA,
Canada, Germany, France, Great Britain, Austria, Switzerland,
and Finland. The fascination of horses on almost every
in childhood turned into the main theme
of her works. You can see horses on almost every one of
her paintings. She uses many techniques, for example: oil
paints, pastels, sketches, watercolours, wall painting.
In impressions and realistics pictures
which she makes you can feel the commitment to theme.
You can admire the perfect reflection of horses'
bodies and main subject of her paintings"
"Let's love horses as you love
yourself and as the part of your own soul"
