Andiamo alla scuola a Roma
We go to school in Rome
August, 2001, I received a phone call from, Sebastiano, one of my teachers in Rome.  He was here in upstate New York teaching Italian.  We had a wonderful conversation in Italian and he said he was very proud of me for how much my Italian has improved since we were together in Rome.  I find many of the concepts he taught me, that were so difficult for me then, are easy now.

We took the Intensive Plus 5 course which mean that we had 4 hours of classes each day plus one hour with our private tutors, Sebastiano and Angela.

The school is in a former palazzo in the Piazza Orologio.  The piazza was built by a wealthy banker in the 18th century.  The building that houses the school was once his home, and the library next to it was the bank.
