light and shadow playing

on soft curves,

as you move across the room.

Teasing glimpses of delight

A shy smile dances

in your eyes,

Bidding my heart to yours.

Fingertip to fingertip

Two souls sparking

into one flame.

Burning,,, oh so deep.

Reaching for the fire's release

Life's braille slowly read

with gentle touch.

Seeking each other.

Embracing the world away.

Pressed into each others mold.

Speaking silently in tongues,

into the maelstrom we dive.

Trembling envelopment

desperately merging,

in a too brief oneness

Primal for the eternal moment.

Still we stay now.

Stretching time,

savoring the taste

of each other's life.

Reluctant release,

then curling you into me.

Talk and laughter,

shared with sleep.
