The Way I read the Tarot.

First off, let me say this.... This is just my personal way and view on how to read the cards.  I feel that the Tarot is a tool that allows me to tap into and channel the universal consciousness.  When I read I open myself up and therefore make myself vunerable to feel the energies surounding the one i'm reading for and this takes alot of my energy.  I am by no means a professional, and i'm sure there are ways to conserve energy through practice and meditation.  (I would love to talk to some one who reads also and get others view points on reading and channeling.)

Before beginning a reading I meditate taking deep breaths and imagine myself surounded by a golden barrier of positive energy.  I then ask the person to think about what they want to know or seek while the cards are being shuffled.  And it really depends if I let them touch my cards or not.

Once shuffled I lay the cards out in 3 piles and pick them up in the order they tell me.  Unbeknownst to most questioners, the order they tell me to pick them up in signals to me if the question or matter is in the past , present or future.  Sometimes during readings when I channel, things come out other than what the person wants to know.  I feel driven sometimes to ask questions or make comments and tell them things that they should watch out for or be aware of..  *And I get them funny little shivers in the back of my neck and up and down my spine*  Sometimes I feel as if I'm speaking from far away.

When I lay the cards out...I use the Celtic Cross pattern.  I've tried others and use them from time to time, but I seem more connected with this pattern.

The Celtic Cross Pattern
1.  The first card represents the question or the person asking.
2.  This one crossed the first card, representing opposition of the person or idea.
3.  This is the root cause or recent past events effecting them.
4.  Past influences or something from the past that is bearing on them or the situation.  Most times something they need to let go of.
5.  Future events or possible influences they need to be aware of.
6.  The future if they stay on the present path.
7.  This card represents them as they are or as they see themselves.
8.  This is how someone else see them, Usually pretaining to strengths.
9.  This card represents Their Hopes and Fears.
10. And this one is the final outcome.
Of course the whole reading and what I ask and how I interpret the cards depends on the situation and vibrations coming from the person I'm reading for.  Also I ask them to feel free to speak anything that comes to mind, no matter how insignificate I  ask them to try not be negative toward the cards or me.  I have refused to read before because I felt negative vibes or vibrations of thing I wanted no part of.....  *Scared me...lol*
Please feel free to email me if you would like to discuss this, argue about or give me pointers about this topic.  A link to my email.
