CURIE  YOUTH RADIO
Curie Youth Radio is part of Curie High School on Chicago's Southwest Side.

We brainstorm, research, and write our own radio stories. We learn to record with minidisc recorders and microphones, and we edit and produce our work
with industry standard computer software.

This year, WBEZ, WHPK, WLUW, WRTE, and WVON have aired our pieces.
Tonette watches the police watch Tonette on 25th and Washtenaw.

Listen to our work:
Curie Youth Radio believes that students need the real world in the classroom.

We listen, write, edit, and produce with an audience in mind: our friends and families, our community, and you.
We try to create stories that the world needs to hear.
