NOTE: Verify that the product actually contains gingerol. Although gingerol
is important, plain ginger root powder may also work well. Ginger contains
many substances that have anticancer and other properties that may work together
in a synergistic manner. Knowing the amount of gingerol in the capsule can
make you feel more confident and in control.
I have been informed that there is a new product up in Canada called Gravol Ginger. It is tiny tablets that contain extract that is equal to 500mg of ginger root powder. Upside is that it may be a lot easier to swallow a bunch of tiny pills than big capsules. Downside is that gingerol content is not certified.
Patrick Swayze has been reported to be drinking fresh ginger root juice every day as part of his treatment for pancreatic cancer. He has had intense chemo and radiation therapy so ginger can't take too much credit for his current good health. It does make you wonder "Why is he taking ginger?" and "What dose did he take and when?" So you can add fresh ginger root juice to the list of gingerol sources. Just be aware of the strong taste.
