Ms. Wrede brought Cimorene to life and we are forever in her debt for doing so.  "The Princess Who Kicks Butt" is a short story by Wrede that is not in The Enchanted Forest Chronicles but could be.  The short story's title typifies the delightful role reversal which adult readers enjoy  and the riotous humor which sends younger readers into laughing fits.  Reading these stories you will encounter
