seeking perspective

why do we do as we do

is not the logic
of a rational mind
stronger
than the base nature
of body and soul

mind body soul
is you
is me
is one

arbitrary divisions
and descartes
mock me
i find no division
in this life
one unto another
all is joined

memory melds
polished into one large whole
by the sands of time

riparian parsed aridity
or solid rocky veins through swamp
the difference is of method
not of form

ultimately inconsequential
the consequence
once writ in stone
erodes with the waters
of the river of time

if not scoured clean

the wind and water are of one mind
even the earth is shaped
by these sisters of change
knowing constancy false
an illusion
preserved by fallen angels
clinging to this incomplete realm
lured by dark matter
and living form

cannot you look beyond
to see the whole
the pattern that connects
the symmetry of mind and more

information comes from distinction
and what will i do with the difference
you etched on my soul with your body and mind
