Shane's article cont'd:

332 BC-Phoenicia, Tyre: During the siege of the trade capital of Phoenicia by the Greeks-a fleet of 'Flying Shields" is described as plunged from the sky and crashed upon the city walls.

Interesting, is it not?! Here again is a case of a wondrous "cloud" that we see so many occurrences of in the Bible; ie; Ezekial's wheels within a wheel. Note: Josef Blumrich, former chief of Systems branch of NASA, set out to disprove such suggestions of Ezekial's sighting as a UFO. However, from a careful analysis of the data available he concluded the vehicle described was a UFO!

Then there was Moses/Isrealites, and the cloud who directed them to the 'Promised Land'. The Prophet Elijah-who literally was 'taken up' by a whirlwind in a 'chariot of fire'-(as witnessed by Elisha)..as they described these events-then,..but, what would you have likened these events to-given the only analogy they had to compare with-with the times they lived. Separate religious text describes how Enoch was whisked up to the Lord in a fiery chariot, never to be seen again. Even though this is not mentioned in the Old Testament, if you look closely at Genesis, Chapter 5, there is a very curious entry for Enoch: 'And Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.'   Could this be a possible reference to God taking Enoch quite literally aboard a spaceship and off into the heavens? A thought.

Reading up on this in various Biblical research texts-i find there has literally been no confirmation  of a burial site/tomb/bones found. Many theologians, Biblical scholars have interpreted in the ancient language 'was not' as-he didn't die. Here one day-gone the next. It goes on to before and after-mention the men before and after Enoch as dying-and their ages upon death.

The Dead Sea Scrolls contain a hitherto unmentioned passage of text which tells of Eve witnessing of a fiery chariot in the sky. The chariot eventually drives up to Adam and smoke pours out from between the wheels. It would therefore appear from this tale that stories of chariots, angels and sons of God were abundant as early as the time of Adam and Eve.

The Sumerian Epic of Gilgamesh is littered with mentions of fiery chariots and people being taken up to the garden of God. The Epic also contains a whole host of parallels to our very own old Testament. For instance, it mentions a great flood, and relates a story very close to that of Moses being cast downstream as a child. the sumerians also had an Eden, known as Dilmun, which is described in the Epic of Enki and Ninhursag, and the creation stories of both texts bear striking resemblance's.

A large part of the available UFO literature is closely linked with mysticism and the metaphysical. It deals with subjects like mental telepathy, automatic writing and invisible entities as well as phenomena like poltergeist [ghost] manifestation and 'possession.' Many of the UFO reports now being published in the popular press recount alleged incidents that are strikingly similar to demonic possession and psychic phenomena, angelic visitations in ancient times.

UFO behaviour is more akin to magic than to physics as we know it... the modern UFOnauts and the angels, Nephilim,-Biblical term-nephilim(referred to as what we might now call 'Alien hybrids'), Biblical Giants , Human/Angel Half breeds?, Human/Alien Half breeds ?, Fallen Angels, Demons, or all of the above ? "Nephilim" is a Hebrew word whose basic meaning is "those who have fallen." . Alternate Translations dependant upon the context in which it is used "those who fall upon," in the sense of invaders or hostile and violent men, such as in Eziekel
The Hebrew word  nephel is probably the root word from which Nephilim is derived- nephel means: "untimely birth, abortion, miscarriage". Nephilim would therefore be "Unnaturally begotten men" or bastards from "abortion" or "miscarriage.
The subject of the Nephilim is one of the great puzzles of the Bible. The same general theme is found throughout ancient writings of many peoples and is not confined exclusively to the Bible. The Nephilim were apparently a race of impressive physical stature compared to the smaller Hebrews, from Numbers 13:33. And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight."
