Cunyar's Cleric Epic 2.0 Walkthrough

Below is information that I have compiled from many different sources: Storm Spirits guild write-ups, Allakhazam posts, Eqcleric.com posts and by my own experiences doing this quest. I hope that this will help you along the path to your 2.0 without having to scour the internet too much. Note: This walkthrough assumes you have completed the epic 1.5 quest. To minimize the ads to the right, click the arrows at the top of the ads.

If you have the Harmony of the Soul (Cleric epic 1.5):

Go to the Ruined City of Dranik. Go to Natvil at +990, -305. Natvil can be found in a cave near the entrance to the Catacombs signet instance zone in.  (Take the cave entrance into RCoD, its the closest to Natvil's cave or nook, whichever you would like to call it.)

You say, 'Hail Natvil'

Natvil examines your craftsmanship. 'Impressive, but I'm afraid that the temper was not sufficient to unlock the full potential of the shield. For now you may use it in its current state. I suspect to fully realize the latent potential of the shield you will require a soulstone from the person who it was bound to originally as well as a Globe of Discordant Energy. Return to me when you have that, I will assist you in completing its enhancement.'

Next: Head to Nedaria's Landing.

You say, 'Hail, Tavon Vastsea' who may be found in  at +1025, +1525.

Tavon Vastsea says 'I hear you were able to put that shield to some use. That is good to hear. I was able to find some news on the leader, someone matching his description has been seen on the other side of the Wayfarer's portal in the Realm of Discord. Please visit my friend Cryssa, at the camp in Discord. She has been working on tracking the Disciple's movement in Discord.'

Next: Go the Bloodfields  and find Cryssa.  Cryssa may be found in a safe alcove at -640, -1080. From the zone in, keep running straight. You will go into a courtyard. Go into the courtyard until you come to some stairs. Go up near the stairs, and to the right of the stairs, there will be a nook in the rocks. Cryssa is in this nook.

You say, 'Hail, Cryssa'

Cryssa says 'Greetings, it is nice to finally meet you. I've heard a good bit about you. Nice work with the Plasmatic Priesthood. I have been able to find precious little information about the Disciples activities here, but I am certain that they have a presence here. I am also fairly certain they have been meeting with the Muramites here in Discord, trying to officially join the army of Mata Muram. We need to find where they are hiding, the Muramites must have some way of contacting them, probably some sort of magical medallion. See if you can. . . coerce some Muramites into relinquishing this information. Return to me with what you find.'

Next: Kill random Nocs and Ikaav's in the Bloodfields until you have collected:

-Top Section of an Engraved Signet:

Drops from: a noc darklurch (Level: 51)  or an ikaav despiser (Levels: 53 - 54) or an ikaav miragenist (Levels: 55 - 56)

-Center Section of an Engraved Signet:

 Drops from: A Noc Fleshletter (Levels: 50 - 51)  or an ikaav deathbeckoner (Levels: 53 - 54)

-Bottom Section of an Engraved Signet:

Drops from:  a noc flashblade (Level: 56)  or an ikaav castigator (Levels: 53 - 55)

Next: Give the three sections to Cryssa.
Cryssa says 'Interesting, this appears to be a charm of some sort. If I am correct you can use this to not only locate the camp, but to break whatever illusion they are using to hide it.'

You  will receive an Enchanted Signet of the Disciples from Cryssa

Next: Zone into Wall of Slaughter with the Signet of the Disciples in your inventory. Upon Zoning into WoS you will get an emote saying: "The signet begins to glow". Now supposedly mobs are supposed to start to agro on you automatically. I spent a lot of time in WoS with the Enchanted Signet on me, and never got agro until I attacked.

Kill any mobs in the north part of the zone which will eventually spawn  a level 70 Dark Disciple.  It may take only 2 or 3 kills to spawn the Dark Disciple, it may take 10-15 kills. It is random and will vary. When the Dark Disciple does spawn, he will spawn near the cleric with the signet.

Dark Disciple hits for 200-1000 and is a relatively easy kill that you can do with two people.

Once deaded, the  Dark Disciple drops a  Dark Red Robe . The robe can drop from any of the dark disciples.

Next: Bring Dark Red Robe back to Cryssa in the Bloodfields.

Next: Give Cryssa the Dark Red Robe. Cryssa  says: 'What is this? No. . . it can't be. Bring this to Omat as quickly as you can. He must see this.'
You get the robe back.

Next:  Find Omat Vastsea in Timorous Deep at -11565, -2225 (Yes the same fellow from when you did your Epic 1.0 forever ago) Omat Vastsea is in the very south of Timorous Deep. He will be in an underwater cave that looks like a big oval on the map.

Once there:  You say, 'Hail, Omat Vastsea'

Omat Vastsea bows deeply. 'I have been expecting you, ______. The waters have foretold your arrival. I am High Priest Omat Vastsea of the Triumvirate missionaries. Please feel free to enjoy the quiet solitude of this inn.'

Next: Give Omat the robe.

Omat Vastsea says 'What? You found this on a Disciple in Discord? This is a robe of the Plasmatic Priesthood, without question. Bring this to Cecilia quickly, hopefully she will be able to divine their intentions.'

You get a  Robe of Plasmatic Priesthood.

Next: Find Warder Cecilia in the Skyfire Mountains at +3000, -3200. Warder Cecilia is also a hold over from the epic 1.0 quest. When you zone into Skyfire, go right at the bottom of the ramp until you come upon a big dragon statue. Warder Cecilia will be standing in front of the dragon statue

Next: You say, 'Hail, Warder Cecilia'

Warder Cecilia says 'You are not the one that I seek, return when you have news of Zordak.'

Next: Give Warder Cecilia the robe.

Warder Cecilia says 'Yes, Omat told me you were coming. Let me see what I can divine from the robe.' She holds the robe to her temple and closes her eyes. You notice a brief glow from behind her eyelids before her eyes shoot open. 'This is truly terrible news. The Plasmatic Priests are still fighting for the destruction of Norrath. Fennin Ro's voice is silent to them now. The remainder of their power faded with the Pantheon's interest in mortal affairs. In their mad pursuit of power, they have allied themselves with Mata Muram. They plan on trading their home-world for the promise of power. Even now their leader is within the Muramite Trials. Trying to earn a position of rank within the Legion. Stop him, once he completes the trials we may lose our opportunity to stop him. I am afraid you will have to visit the Labrynth's trials and stop him before he is able to complete them. Best of luck to you.'

Next: Complete any single group Muramite Proving Grounds trial and loot a Journal of the Prime Disciple, a 10-slot GIANT container which identifies as "There are No Pages in this book."

Next: You will now need to find two journal pages from the Muramite Proving Grounds.

-The first is a Torn Journal Page, is a random drop from mobs in the Muramite Proving Grounds. If you camp six way for 5-10 minutes you are bound to see one of these drop. You can also try to ooc in MPG as well, as these do tend to rot alot.

-The second is a Ripped Journal Page, found on the Girplan Scavenger. This is a raid encounter in the northern section of the Proving Grounds. The Girplan Scavenger is Level 70 and casts AE Ramp and AE slow and hits for an average of between 2k to 2.4k. Other effects are:

Cloud of Attrition NPC Hatelist 0', Chromatic (-250)
1: Decrease Spell Haste by 50%
2: Decrease ATK by 300
3: Increase Disease Counter by 24
4: Limit: Combat Skills Not Allowed

Cloud of Discord NPC Hatelist 1000', Chromatic (-300)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 1900
2: Stun(12.00 sec)

Discordant Feedback NPC Hatelist 200', Chromatic (-300)
1: Decrease HP when cast by 1000
2: Decrease Mana by 100 per tick
3: Decrease Hitpoints by 100 per tick
4: Decrease Endurance by 150 per tick
5: Decrease Endurance by 100
6: Increase Curse Counter by 16

The Girplan Scavenger can spawn a chest upon its death with additional loot.

Next: Combine the Torn Journal Page and the Ripped Journal Page inside the Journal of the Prime Disciple.

The combine results in a Prime Disciple's Journal.

Next: Bring a raid force and take the Prime Disciple's Journal to Omat Vastsea in Timorous Deep. Turn in the Prime Disciple's Journal to Omat Vastsea. (Be sure to have DA on when you do turn in.) Omat gives the journal back to you after you turn it in.

Omat says: 'Omat Vastsea grows pale as he reads the journal, 'It is just as a feared. I can't believe he is on his way here. The walls of the cove tremble as the Prime Disciple appears before Omat. Well this is an unexpected surprise, I came looking for Omat, however revenge on you, _______, will be that much sweeter.'

Gefaari Drokaz will now spawn behind you.

Gefaari Drokaz says 'You will burn for all eternity!'

Have a puller tag Gefaari Drokaz and bring him back to the raid on the beach to get a good beating.

At 90%, Gefaari Drokaz will turn into a human Zordak Ragefire.

At 85%, Human Zordak Ragefire turns into a Dragon Zordak Ragefire.

Ragefire seems very resistant to fire and very susceptible to cold. Ragefire also has a high magic resist.

Several adds called Zordak's Minions (Spectres) will spawn at 60% (2 of them), 30% (3 of them), and 20% (4 of them).

Strategy for Adds:

1. Make sure Ragefire is snared. (Note: Ragefire is hard to snare but it can be done.)

2. Once the adds pop, have your Main Tank kite Ragefire with a healer or two in tow . The remainder of the raid should pile on the adds and get them dead.

3. Once the adds are dead, get everyone back on Ragefire and beat Ragefire down some more.

4. Rinse and repeat for each new wave of adds that come out until Ragefire is dead.

At 20% Ragefire starts to cast Fear and picks up his DPS on the raid. It is important to have tanks and DPS burn their discs and for healers to keep MGB heals going once Ragefire hits 20%.  Save MGB heals and discs for the last 20%, you'll need them!

Effects Used by Ragefire:
Cloud of Discord
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 1900
2: Stun(12.00 sec)

Deathly Chants
1: Lure(6)
2: Decrease Hitpoints by 120 per tick
4: Increase Curse Counter by 9
8: Decrease Mana Pool by 1500

Force Breath
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 1000
2: Stun(6.00 sec)

Lava Breath
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 2500
2: Cancel Magic(9)
3: Cancel Magic(9)

Timeless Panic
1: Fear up to level 400
2: Decrease HP when cast by 1000

Loot the Soulshard from his corpse. After he's killed, a chest can spawn with additional loot.

Note: The Ragefire fight can be done back to back if you have multiple clerics needing to do this fight.

You will need to have Citadel of Anguish access to go on.

Complete the six raid trials in the Muramite Proving Grounds to gain Access to the Citadel of Anguish.

Next: Take a raid force and kill Warden Hanvar in CoA. Warden Hanvar is a Level 85 mob. He Casts:

Chains of Anguish NPC Hatelist 0', Magic (-375)
1: Decrease Spell Haste by 70%
2: Decrease Movement by 90%
3: Decrease Attack Speed by 50%
4: Increase Curse Counter by 50
5: Limit: Combat Skills Not Allowed

Feedback Dispersion NPC Hatelist 0', Prismatic (-400)
1: Decrease HP when cast by 3500
2: Decrease Hitpoints by 300 per tick
3: Decrease Mana by 350 per tick
4: Decrease Endurance by 1000
5: Decrease Endurance by 200 per tick
6: Increase Curse Counter by 45

Wail of Anguish NPC Hatelist 0', Disease (-475)
2: Stun(10.00 sec)

You have Hanvar groups and add killing groups.

First you need to split the adds away from Hanvar and pull them to the add killing groups.

Once adds are split away, pull Hanvar outside of his room into the hallway, just outside of the door to his room.

Make sure no one from add killing groups get Hanvar hate list and add groups won't get AE'd.

Have the Add killing groups tag the adds as they attack the raid and get the adds dead asap. Hanvar will take almost no damage until all the adds are dead.

Once you are sure all the adds are dead, Hanvar will start taking damage. Have the main tank pull Hanvar back into the room where Hanvar was originally pulled from, and have everyone pile onto Hanvar and get him dead. The main tank should fight Hanvar in the far left corner as you come into Harvar's room, keeping Hanvar's back to the raid. Again, everyone should be on Hanvar at this point until Hanvar is dead.

Upon Warden Hanvar's death, loot a Globe of Discordant Energy.

A chest with additional loot can also spawn as well

Note: Warden Hanvar is not the only mob in CoA you can get a Globe of Discordant Energy from, but for purposes of this walkthrough, I will detail just the Hanvar fight as it would take too much room to detail the other fights. Other CoA mobs who drop globes are: Arch Magus Vangl (Level: 80), Jelvan`s Keepsake event, and of course the big guy,  Overlord Mata Muram (Level: 90)

Next: Go to The Ruined City of Dranik (RCoD). Bring the Globe of Discordant Energy (The one you looted from Warden Hanvar in CoA), the Soulshard (That you looted from Zordak Ragefire), and your Harmony of the Soul (Cleric epic 1.5). Go see Natvil (location +990, -305 if you have forgotten).

Next: You say, 'Hail, Natvil'

Natvil says 'Greetings. The metals of Discord are quite amazing. I could spend a lifetime just studying their properties.'

Hand Natvil the
Globe of Discordant Energy, the Soulshard and your Harmony of the Soul (Cleric epic 1.5) to Natvil. (Note: If you have an augment in your Epic 1.5, Remove the augment or you will lose it when you do the final turn in.)

Natvil says 'Amazing! You have found everything.' He then pulls deftly to complete the shield. 'Quickly, take this back. It will bind itself to you. You have done well.'

You Receive your Epic 2.0: Aegis of Superior Divinity, 10 AA's and your new title "High Priest" or "High Priestess.
