Dedication For Those in Peril on on the Sea..
This page is to honor the golden age of travel. This site is dedicated to preserving the memories from the steamship days of the past. In the days before the airplane, the only real way to cross the Atlantic to the Americas was by these massive, beautiful oceanliners. These magnificent beauties have come and gone, but one thing is for sure, these ships may be gone, but their legacy will remain forever. Those who lost their lives on the unfortunate loss of these ships will remain forever in our hearts, and ship enthusiasts all over the world are dedicated supporters in keeping their memories alive. As technology progresses we are reminded everyday just how important these ships were in the golden age of travel. I dedicate this page in honor and memory of the many men, women and children who lost their lives on these ships, i also dedicate this page in preserving the history of these grand liners. Each and every one of these liners is very unique and each one has their own story to tell. Today, the only transatlantic ship left in service is the R.M.S Queen Elizabeth II, Owned by the Cunard Line. The memories of these grand liners will remain forever in the hearts and minds of ship enthusiasts all over the world.
