In the depths of the night,
Darkness overwhelms,
Light's devoured.
While man sleep tight.
A war, time consuming takes place.
As a stray thought drifts in between crossfire,
It's consumed by hatred and pain.
Writhed, whitened bodies
Fall into a bed of nails,
As sharp as freezing death,
Ripping through your soul,
Piercing away your heart.
You awake. All thoughts
Consumed by everlasting hatred,
A sudden urge to kill,  ignited.
Now prey you stalk,
Anything will suit your needs
And so onward you drift,
Eyes begging for the sight of flesh,
Blood to satisfy, a thirst of ages
Ages long gone, and ages yet awaiting.
Suddenly you collapse upon
Blood-stained tiles,
And you bleed, every drop
Clenching the dark thirst for more...
You rest.
