Children's day is held on Mey 5th.It is a time for  families to celebrate the joy of a child.
Traditionally May 5th was a boy's holiday.
Girls also have their own holiday on March 3rd.

Cinco De Mayo (The Fifth of May)
Cinco de mayo celebrates the time when Mexican forces defeated Napoleon 3 of France at the Battle of Puebla om May 5th,1867.
Mexico became an independent nation on this day.

Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of each November.
It is a time to offer thanks,of fanily gatherings and holiday meals.
A time of turkeys,stuffing and pumpkinpie.
A time for Indian corn,holiday parades and giant balloons.
Hungary
On the 20th of August we celebrate our statefounder king Szent Istvan ( Saint Steven). We have a nice procession starting from the Basilica of Budapest, where a relic ( the right hand of the king) is carried around. We have street fairs of the Hungarian craftmen and a spectacular firework over the Danube river. On the same day in Debrecen there is an amasing parade with huge moving figures made of flowers.
