* The capital of Somalia is Mogadishu
* Roughly 7,488,773 people inhabit Somalia
* The average life expectancy in Somalia is 46.6 years
* The offical language in Somali, however, Arabic,
   Italian, and English are also spoken
* Most Somalians are Sunni Muslim
* Only 24% of the population above 15 years of age
   can read or write

Somalian Culture:
  In Somalia, culture and religion go hand in hand.
Prayer:
* Somalians pray 5 times a day despite location
* Somalians should make abolution before prayer
   which involves washing face, arms, and legs
Religious Holidays:
* Somalians celebrate
Ramadan which is a
   Islamic month of fasting from sunrise to sunset
*
Id-al-Fitir is celebrated for 3 days after the end
  of Ramadan
*
Id-al-Adha is another religious celebration 3
  months after Id-al-Fitir
*
Haj, which is the Muslims pilgrmage to
  Mecca,occurs at the same time as the Id-al-Adha
