CULTURAL RELATIVISM LINKS
Home
On this page we list some of the internet resources on cultural relativism.  Note that we are not including only the pro-relativism resources or the ones that agree with our description and analysis of it.  The first point of intellectual honesty is to include ALL the information and points of view relevant to a subject.
The second point of intellectual honesty is to accurately characterize a position before attacking it.  Notice that many of the anti-relativism resources commit the "straw man" fallacy--they paint an inaccurate picture of the idea so it is easier to knock down.
Weigh the viewpoints out for yourself, and "consider the source" for each.  For those who are against cultural relativism, WHY are they against it?  What are they for?  Some "absolute" perspective or morality? If so, WHICH ONE?  And what would they say about all the other possible perspectives and moralities?
