INSTRUMENT OF ABDICATION
I, The Most High, Noble and Potent Prince His Grace
Robert Edward James Lancaster II, by the Grace of God Duke
of Wessex, do hereby declare my irrevocable determination to renounce
the title of Duke and the Duchy of Wessex for myself and for any
further
descendants, and my desire that effect should be given to this
Instrument of Abdication immediately.
To which immediately go the title and lands and all the rights thereof
to my son, Edward James Lancaster; to assume these duties as regent
until the age
of eighteen shall be his mother, Lady Stephanie Erin Dynasty-Lancaster.
In token whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-seventh
of June, Twenty Naught Seven, in the presence of the witnesses
whose
signatures are subscribed.
