FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
MEMPHIS, TN (Saturday, August 14, 2002): News has just been released by Jack Lynch, owner of the Mid-South Wrestling Assocation (MSWA), and His Grace, Robert Lancaster II, Duke of Wessex, for Robert Lancaster Investment Enterprises (NYSE, FTSE100: RLIE) to sponsor a series of initiatives involving the MSWA's technological facilities and Jack Lynch Sports Pub and Grille.
Over the following months, the Jack Lynch Theater's work-out and basement technical facilities shall undergo major renovations, with a new jumbotron also being provided for the MSWA arena.
His Grace, in connection and cooperation with Mr. Lynch and MSWA officials, has secured for the MSWA and the Jack Lynch Theater a guaranteed investment of US$5 million (approx. 3.2 million Pounds Sterling). An undisclosed figure was proposed to Mr. Lynch in assisting the development of Grille franchises.
His Grace had the following comments to make: "I am more than pleased to make this invesment in both the MSWA, which is one of the finest regional wrestling federations in the Americas, and in the Jack Lynch Theater, which deserves the utmost quality in equipment and facilities for those fighting under the illustrious Lynch banner."
"In my early days while at Oxford and Cambridge, amateur wrestling was a passion of course, and I know the importance of regional leagues and federations, and to those like the one operated by Mr. Lynch, I owe an indefinite debt of gratitude."
His Grace wrestled in the past under the guise of Duke Robert Goodlife II, in the Chaos Wrestling Federation (CWF), North American Wrestling Alliance (NAWA) and managed in the World Wrestling Alliance (WWA). He amassed championships including the CWF Transcontinental Championship, NAWA American Tag Team Championship, and was the final NAWA American Champion.
Mr. Lynch had the following comments to make in turn: "I'm more than glad to have Mr. Lancaster aboard as a sponsor for the MSWA. I'll put the money to good use, you can damn well bet on that...and the MSWA that emerges will mean better facilities for both the fighters and the staff."
Mr. Lynch did not specifically mention a date when renovations would begin.
He did add however, "This new partnership with RLIE will not only assist the MSWA, but the CAL as well."
And regarding the franchisement of Jack Lynch Sports Bar and Grilles, Mr. Lynch was more than pleased, as was His Grace.
Mr. Lynch expressed his hope that the Grille's reputation for some of the finest steaks in America, its famous Baron VonKrakl sandwich, and its mixture of sports bar and pub atmopsheres would and can catch on throughout the continent, and perhaps later, the world.
His Grace added: "Any place that can show English Premier Football and serve over one hundred varieties of beer in the heart of America certainly has my vote of confidence!"
