OFFICE OF HIS GRACE ROBERT LANCASTER II, DUKE OF WESSEX
* WESSEX, ENGLAND *

WESSEX, ENGLAND (Wednesday, June 11, 2003):  FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HIS GRACE DENIES CONTENTS OF NEWSPAPER ARTICLE

Subsequent to and as a result of a story which appeared in a recent article in The Sun tabloid newspaper, the Office of His Grace Robert Lancaster II wishes to deny the contents and story of Miss Kathy O'Donnell as being incorrect and misleading.

His Grace denies any sexual intercourse which was alleged to have happened between himself and Miss O'Donnell, and dismisses these allegations as nothing but scandal mongering.

His Grace is considering his legal options at this time.

His Grace is fully aware of the displeasure this story has created amongst his family members, particuarly his wife, and within the ranks of the Palace, and once again is vehemently opposed to the contents of said article.

His Grace had the following to say regarding the situation in which he finds himself:

"I am fully aware of this story in the Sun, and because of my contractual obligations with Robert Marshall and the CSWA, and the CAL, in touring as CAL World Tag Team Champion, I have not been able to speak until this time.  I shall not deny that Miss O'Donnell and myself spent an evening together.  However, what she asserts happened that night is not proveable, nor do I have any recollection, subsequent to the amount of liquor that I was privy to consume.  I would like to publically declare my devotion to my wife, Her Grace Stephanie Erin Lancaster, our son, Edward, and to Her Majesty, and hope that the Sun will retract this story which has inflicted embarrassment and displeasure."

HIS GRACE COMMENTS ON HIS CAREER

His Grace Robert Lancaster II has at this time released an open comment to his fans and supporters throughout the CAL and wrestling world:

"In light of the recent scandal surrounding myself and my family, I would just like to thank all the people closest to me who have expressed their support at this time.  Seamus Finnegan, and Jeff Kushner, in particular, are to be thanked, as are the fans and supporters of the CSWA who continue to show me their good nature and cheer as I have toured with Seamus around the leagues of the CAL.  And to my wife, whom I know I have had difficulty reaching out to, believe me when I say that you are still the most important element to me."

Mr. Lancaster also commented on the current situation in the CSWA and CAL:

"I do admit to having missed the CSWA a great deal as I toured with the CAL Tag Team Championship.  I would like to at this time accept Adam-X's generous open challenge for next week's Wildfire.  If however, someone else wishes to step up over the next few days and take it, even after this release has been made public, I would like to step aside for that person.  I have had the good luck to be CAL World Tag Champion, and I am by no means one who craves the spotlight.  If however nobody else wishes said match, I gladly accept, should nothing interfere.  Back in the NAWA I was to have a match against Xavier, and never had a chance unfortunately.  I do not see eye-to-eye with him on many issues, but what he has done for this sport is unmistakeable, and I admire that highly.  Any man Jeff Kushner can put his faith in, has my respect and admiration.  It'd be a pleasure."

Mr. Lancaster also wishes to publically announce his hope and support for Jeff Kushner as he vies for a possible spot to face the CAL World Champion at Coronation II at some point, and has his full support and best wishes.

Mr. Lancaster continues to be employed by Robert Marshall's Central States Wrestling Alliance, based in Lincoln, Nebraska.
