I am so ready to graduate!! I don�t mean I want to leave everyone! Quite the contrary. It�s just I�m so sick of school work. I found out yesterday that engineers don�t have foreign language requirements in College! So my AP test tomorrow in French is completely pointless- I�ll try to review a bit but not a whole lot. I�m actually taking a break from my, what is this� oh yeah Physics homework. I suck at Newton�s law when applied to circular motion (uniform). That�s okay cause I plan to review in a few days. Let�s see today: Parked car at school. Eric came with me to deliver poetry books to the library- English is going to be a cakewalk the rest of the year!! Thank god! Before Physics I finished my French and looked around the room at a somewhat comatose crowd. Adam looked as though he would keel over at any minute- took notes in Physics because Gibbons locked his keys, and the review stuff, in his car. French bleah- no comment. English- party!! Actually we are invited to have an �accidental highly unplanned party� sometime this week or next which is great! We aren�t going to do Portrait of the artist though I suppose I should read it just for cultural understanding. That will actually be my project this summer: get some culture: actually learn French, read lots, clean my room (yes that is essential to culture unless it is purposely messy- which is my current excuse). I can�t wait for summer- I don�t move to LA until September 25!!! Berkeley people move in August!! I�ll go visit them all. We turned in all our old packets for English so that should help my room look better� It feels great to get rid of all that paper- such a relief- a sign of summer- woa!! I shivered- thinking about graduation- I�m really gonna miss everyone� The final tossing of hats, the good byes, the last time parties, the shredding of paper on the last day of school! Ahh!! Am I ready? Am I not? I won�t think about it now. Art- stupid, stupid, stupid saying for the Senior Awards Night �We achieved because we believed� And I�m supposed to draw a brochure with that on it and NOT BE CYNICAL??? Lunch Lit Mag- extremely low turn out- I feel like an utter failure� we did roast Colleen good though about Kevin- just a return favor for her getting Catherine and I for going out with our guys. AP Calc didn�t do awful on the Exam, AP Econ- boring Got home ate and went outside to tan-topless! Hey had to advertise sometime- only time I�ve done it but I can�t get a tan on my back without bra strap marks if I don�t. It was boiling hot so I kept walking over to the pool to cool off. I tied on my shirt- so the back was still open- so my brother could jump in the pool. I�m still trying to teach him how to dive properly- he got it perfect once! Some were good in terms of the jump but he slapped his legs down instead of keeping them straight, which is still much better than his falling in dive. I went in and watched TV, studied French then I went down for dinner after catching part of some old movie with Clark Gable and I think Marlena Deitrich. Looked interesting. We had some good cheeses with dinner: I liked the Pellagio better than the Fontina- more flavor. Back upstairs I took a shower, caught part of Rear Window and envied Grace Kelly�s beautiful dress and white gloves. Then I started work on Physics and this journal- hopefully will start posting these!!!
