Alex was possibly more spoken about than present but this episode did provide some nice viewing opportunities as well as some insights into the Cullen and Chandler relationship. Jack: I'll check with Alex. Tom: No, just tell Alex. Jack: I'll see Alex makes it a priority. Tom: No, you'll see Alex makes an arrest. Alex: (To intrepid journalist who has just meeped 'Tom Chandler said I went in with you.') Tough. (Beautifully delivered, naturally!) There's no danger of Alex beating Tom Chandler in the satorial stakes but he did look cute all rugged up in his jacket, body armour and jumper. ;o) Didn't quite see why, by the by, we were going in so beefed up and mob handed to get a bloke who cut up a little old helpless lady with a craft knife - it may make him scum but I'm not too sure it makes him a Kray twin! Pleased to see that Alex was clever enough to well and truly know something iffy had gone on in that carpark - and obviously didn't approve. Overall this was an ep where we had Alex back as Chandler's right hand man - digging up dirt on the crim etc. I'd still say Chandler is very much the dominant one in the relationship. |
