Polygamist Convicted of Child Rape

NEPHI -- Polygamist Tom Green was convicted of child rape Monday for having sex with a 13-year-old girl who became his "spiritual wife" and had a child with him in 1986. Fourth District Judge Donald Eyre took just 30 minutes to find Green guilty for his relationship with Linda Kunz, who is now his legal wife. The non-jury trial lasted about an hour.

NEPHI, Juab County - Utah's most well-known polygamist was found guilty in 4th District Court on a first-degree felony charge of rape of a child. "You are guilty of the crime as charged," Judge Donald Eyre told Tom Green after a short trial Monday morning.
