Cult leader gives up; 19 followers killed

"DINAGAT, Surigao del Norte -- Cult leader Ruben Ecleo Jr., 47, a suspect in the murder of his wife, surrendered Wednesday morning 15 hours after members of his cult, the Philippine Benevolent Missionaries Association (PBMA), fired the first shots at the policemen. His mother Rep. Glenda Ecleo arranged the surrender."
