FUZZTONES "MAKE FUZZ NOT WAR" TOUR 2003 A HUGE SUCCESS DESPITE OBSTACLES

(12/29/03)
Hey Fuzz Fans!
The Fuzztones need your support! The band was fortunate enough to have their new smash hit,
"DON'T BLOW YOUR MIND," selected, not only for airplay on LITTLE STEVEN'S internationally syndicated "UNDERGROUND GARAGE" show this year, but honored to have it selected by Steven himself on one of his weekly features enitled "COOLEST SONG IN THE WORLD THIS WEEK."
Now, LITTLE STEVEN is offering the listeners (and even you non-listener Fuzz fans out there!) to
VOTE FOR THE COOLEST SONG IN THE WORLD THIS YEAR! All votes must be in by January 7th, 2004!
You all know that the ol' FUZZTONES don't get a whole lotta airplay and, to be featured on such a prestigious international showcase such as this show, is important in our quest to spread the Garage Gospel according to the original Gurus of Garage Grunge, The FUZZTONES! SO please do your part as fans and enter "DON'T BLOW YOUR MIND" as the COOLEST SONG IN THE WORLD FOR 2004 before the January 7th deadline!
All you need to do is to send your vote to:[email protected]
Thanks & stay fuzzed!
Rudi (and LaDonna)
P.S. Hope you had a Merry, Fun, & Dizzy Christmas and have a wild & cool 2004!

(November 4, 2003)...The FUZZTONES return and RUDI sezz.... Hey Fuzzaholics!
We're finally back from the most gruelling tour we've done since '85!
We played 22 shows in a month and spent almost EVERY day off traveling!
Jordan estimates that we traveled the equivalant of 4 cross country trips over the USA!
It was great to have Jordan onboard after so many years. Most fans will recall that he was lead guitarist for the "In Heat" line-up. He was also co-writer of some of the 'tones most popular tunes, such as
"Action Speaks Louder Than Words," "Rise," "All The King's Horses," and "Look For The Question Mark."
His Phantom guitar and Vox amp wizardry added alot to the band's sound!
We did filming for an upcoming documentary, as well as live taping for a European TV show.
The turnouts were great and the new material was very well received. The highpoint of the tour, for me at least, was a special guest appearance by the legendary MARK LINDSAY of PAUL REVERE & THE RAIDERS,
one of my all-time favorite bands, and a huge influence on me and the rest of the Fuzztones.
Mark did two shows with us in Greece, at the beginning of the tour. We did a set of 7 Raiders classics
and rocked Greece like it's never been rocked!
Our second night, at a club in Thessaloniki, was truly memorable, not only because the club was so unbearably hot that the guitars went totally out of tune right at the start of Mark's set (not deterring Mad Marcus in the least!), but because the whole band stripped to the waist (well, ok, Deb didn't - maybe NEXT time!)...
and Mark did the whole set IN HIS UNDERWEAR! I actually caught him doing a quick flash at one point!
Gloria Stavers and Dick Clark would've had a heart attack! Mark and I are discussing some very interesting projects for the future, so stay tuned!
We had some great opening bands on this tour, particularly the Defectors in Denmark and the Go Apes in Frankfurt! I loaned Deb my cd of Baby Woodrose (another great Denmark band) and haven't seen it since!
Deb turned me on to a cd of the Detroit Cobras, which is on my list of top current bands - the gal who sings for these guys is a monster! Sounds like a mix of Ronnie Spector and Janis Joplin! DEADLY!

We were scheduled to do a few shows in America upon our return, two of which we had to cancel.
However, we WILL be playing ONE NGHT ONLY at Hollywood's KEY CLUB on Saturday, November 8th with SKY SAXON & THE SEEDS and DAVIE ALLAN! Truly a Garage fan's wet dream! We will be selling t-shirts and cds there, too. This will be our ONLY appearance in the USA, so I hope to see alot of you there!

Meanwhile, Ramiro, Gabe and I will be doing some LINK PROTRUDI & THE JAYMEN shows soon,
so stay tuned for updates!

(05/09/03) Alot of folks thought we were nuts to go tour Europe in the middle of the war. We were a bit skeptical ourselves, especially concerning the dates in Germany and France, as Bush publicly insinuated that these countries are no longer our allies, and therefore must be our enemies. We were relieved to find that the fans from these countries, as well as those in Spain, Greece, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and England, were more than supportive - they were manic! We met loads of fans who've stuck by us from the early days (many told me they'd seen us on our first European tour in 1985, and have been loyal fans ever since!) as well as many new fans, some as young as 15! The atmosphere in alot of the clubs we played was so similar to the early days that I felt I was in a time tunnel. It's obvious that people are hungry for Rock 'n' Roll. We gave 100% every night and the audience always gave it right back, making it all worthwhile. Our performances were televised for several TV shows, and I did a few TV interviews as well as radio interviews. We received alot of great press as well!

This is not to say the tour went off without a hitch! After slaving over our new album for the last two years, we were anxious to finally have it out and available to the fans as a merchandise item on this tour. We secured the services of a German pressing plant (Presswerks in Munich) who assured us that our cd would be pressed and ready in time for the 3rd show, which was in Munich. We began contacting them daily from the time we first arrived in Europe to rehearse in Greece. Every day they offered a new excuse as to why there was a delay. Each day the excuse changed and promises were made, broken, made, and broken. Bottom line? No cds for the tour, causing the band extreme loss of expected income, as well as extreme dissapointment from the fans. To top it off, Presswerks had the nerve to keep the (sizeable) deposit!

The band is currently in the process of initiating legal action. Unfortunately the money used as a deposit will now not be going toward pressing the cd. We are currently trying to figure out how to get the record out. We want to thank everyone for their patience, and I assure you we are doing all we can to get this thing out!

We discovered that, while we were gone, Little Steven chose a new cut from the album, "Don't Blow Your Mind," as "The Coolest Record In The World This Week," and has already played it on two shows! He has also announced that the record is available through Fuzztones.net. Unfortunately this is not the case, since the cds we expected to have pressed have not been.

At the moment, I have a million things to catch up on, so the sordid tour details will have to wait til next time. Til then, a million thanks to our fans, the coolest and most loyal in the world!

HAPPY TRAILS from the Paisley Fog!

Rudi

(05-06-03) After more than a year of mixing, the new Fuzztones album is FINALLY FINISHED!

It's called "SALT FOR ZOMBIES," and it's the most psychedelic release since Pink Floyd's "Piper at the Gates of Dawn!" Obviously, the Absinthe that they demand on every Spanish tour rider has heavily influenced their new sound! French artist Bolek Budzyn has done an amazing job on the cover art, which the band is trying desperately to have printed in time for the tour. Check out Bolek's website at www.sicade.com.
The band plans to sell the cd on tour, as well as online (but not until they return from the tour). "Salt For Zombies" is the Fuzztones first studio album in 13 years, and like it's predecessor, "Braindrops," features guest appearances by two Garage legends. This time around, it's JAMES LOWE (Electric Prunes) and SKY SAXON (Seeds)! Plans are underway to add MP3 sound samples to the Fuzztones.net website, so fans can get a taste. The band will begin shopping the album upon their return from Europe in May.
Meanwhile, a feature article on the Fuzztones has recently appeared in Italy's major rock magazine, Rock Sounds, and a major Argentinian rock publication did a four page spread on the career of Rudi Protrudi! Italy's fantastic Misty Lane 'zine will feature an article on "Rudi and Deb's" pre-Fuzztones band, "Tina Peel", in their upcoming issue, and Guitar World just included IN HEAT as one of the most influential garage guitar LPs of all time! Little Steven has been playing The Fuzztones on a regular basis and Rudi has even contributed a show ID which was aired in February!

AND, Mexico's DARK ZONE label has released a single, "Hallucination Generation," b/w "Get Naked," two alternative mixes from the new LP.
Last but not least, Rudi is busy writing his autobiography, entitled "Pissing In The Wind (The Story of My Life)." He secured a publishing deal with the German FanPro Publications while on tour last year, and hopes to have the book finished next year.
*********************************

To all the members of the Fuzztones Preservation Society:
A Cryptic Christmas to all! And a personal thank you to everyone for all of your support and the enthusiam you've shown the Fuzztones since or reformation in 2000.
Believe me, it's appreciated more than you could know.

Phil and I are almost finished mixing the new album.
We've already had several labels show interest, WITHOUT EVEN HEARING IT!
We are planning on pressing a limited advance amount on my label, SIN Records, specifically for the fans who've stuck by us all these years, to have the chance to get theirs before everyone else! Hopefully we'll be able to estimate a release date by the beginning of the New Year.

I'd also like to give a special thanks to David for keeping the e-group going.
It's a great input for us to be able to hear what you all have to say.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! 2002

Rudi

Letters from Rudi on tour!

Hey High Priestess!
I'm writing from an internet cafe in Greece on our last night here. The tour was a great success and we've made quite alot of new fans! We got a chance to do an interview for the major rock radio station in Athens a day before the festival and consequently drew a crowd of about three thousand! Andrea never ceased to wow the crowd by playing "Brand New Man" with a pair of huge bones as drumsticks! Phil and Gabe's Paul Revere & The Raiders' style stage moves and matching Phantom guitars were a big hit, too, as well as the debut of lotsa new material. We started in Verona, Italy, and progressed to a festival in Rome where we also got a chance to enter a studio and record 3 songs for the next single, which will be released by Misty Lane.

Our last show in Italy was the annual Biker Festival in Matera. We were lucky enough to have several days off and were able to have a rare chance to enjoy the beautiful weather and fantastic scenery. Hit the beach in Italy and Greece. Found an incredible little record shop in Athens
(Hi Patrick and Jim!) and bought loads of super rare psych stuff!

We've been getting alot of mail from fans around the world asking when The Fuzztones will be playing their country. Just so you guys know, we would LOVE to tour in some of the countries we haven't been to recently but, over the years, we've lost our booking contacts. If you are a booking agent or promoter, or know someone who is, contact me through the websites
(Cult of Fuzz.com - [email protected], www.Fuzztones.net or the e-group) to discuss tour possibilities.

We will be entering the recording studio in July to record our first studio LP in over 10 years. Each member has contributed to the writing of the new material. I'm sure you're gonna dig the new stuff. I think it's some of our best to date!

Rudi

Fuzz Folks-
We're preparing to do the last show of the tour tomorrow night in Athens. it will be a big festival called Gimme Shelter, and we are the headliner. Greece and Italy had beautiful weather and we were able to have a few days off for once, so we really got a chance to enjoy the countries...something we don't usually get to do often! We recorded a new single yestreday in Rome. It is a 3 song ep and will be released on Misty Lane. Songs are: "Help Murder Police" (with newly revised lyrics dedicated to my personal friends, the LAPD), "Out of Our Tree" and a brand new version of "Brand new Man". We'll have alotta stories to tell when we get back, but since I'm at an internet cafe now, I wanted to just drop a line and let everyone know that not only are The Fuzztones back, but we're back WITH A VENGEANCE, BABY!

"THE FUZZTONES ARE ON EGROUPS.COM! It's a small but mighty site created to discuss The Fuzztones and the everlasting impression Rudi and Co. have made on our lives and musical tastes! Mosey on over to www.egroups.com/fuzztones. See you there!"
Hey, thanks, David! Hey, ya'll head over there. I am there and Sean Bonniwell of the Music Machine is a member as well. Lots of cool posts are going on!

On Friday, Oct. 14th, Rudi was involved in an auto accident. While sitting in his parked car, he was rear-ended by a police cargoing approximately 30 mph. Rudi has been diagnosed with whiplash and is suffering from 4 herniated discs, a dislocated shoulder and severe arm pain. He is receiving treatments and hopes to be back rocking soon. Meanwhile, while "out of commission", he's adding the finishing touches to the new Tujunga Killbillies album that he and his Country & Western band have been working on for the last few months.

We are now also www.cultoffuzz.com!
A new site in the Fuzztones' family: www.Fuzztones.net!!!
See Flash movie about the site!

Fuzztones.net is a new site designed and created by Rudi Protrudi & Philip Arriagada, guitarist in the 1990-92 Fuzztones lineup. The site features an entire history of the band including a page (or more) for every member in every lineup! Rudi's original artwork is on the site as well as photos from band members' photo albums including numerous never before seen pics. The site is still fairly new but, as time goes on, they'll be adding MP3s for downloading and live concert videos from various lineups.

SINGLE from 2000!!! Click here for info!!!

There is a Fuzztones interview at this site (thanks to Dan "DJ GREMLIN" Collins for the info!) Dublab.com. (Warning! This is only works if you can view frames. To find it in the archives, click on the orange box which is "Audio Tank", then select "Studio Archives". On the left, you can select a month, so choose March 2000. After that, scroll down on the right to the Fuzztones interview which happened on 3-18-2000

The NEW Fuzztones debuted at The Garage in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 25 (click here to see the poster) w/The Zeros and The Forty-Five's (The Real Kids couldn't make it). The show was WILD! I will have a set list, pictures, a video, and MP3's soon. Meanwhile, click here to see a photo of the NEW FUZZTONES!!! I will soon have more photos & info on Johnny DeVille (formerly of the Bomboras!) on guitar, Gabriel Hammond on bass guitar, Jake Cavalierre (former Fuzztone and Bomboras member!) on VOX organ, and Andrea Kusten (from NYC garage legends, the OUTTA PLACE!) on drums, as well as Rudi Protrudi! Stay tuned!

RUDI attended LAS VEGAS GRIND and CAVESTOMP '99 and said that both were GREAT! I am awaiting details from him about them & if he performed with any of the bands. He did tell me that he has a lot of "plans" in the works but nothing final enough to announce. That sounds tempting & I will be letting you know just what the "plans" are as soon as he gives me the final word of those that are to be a reality.

I have word from Rudi that he will be attending Cave Stomp '99 in NYC and MAY jump in on a song or two with the Bomboras who will be playing. The 'Tones will not perform. If you see him, be sure to tell him that this website is FUZZTASTIC!

Those of you in the know may have already witnessed the gig of the year (or the century, for that matter!)...THE ORIGINAL NYC line-up of the legendary FUZZTONES (Rudi, Deb, Elan, and Ira) did their first show together in 13 years when they performed at the Motorcity Biker festival in Matera, Italy on June 4, 1999! Although all efforts to locate the mysterious Michael Jay fell short, Massimo Del Pozzo (of Misty Lane fame) proved to be more than adequate as his substitute. Led to the stage by an entourage of leather & denim-clad tattooed long-hairs on Harleys (the Indian Biker Club of Matera, South Italy), the 'Tones (decked in biker-style denim cut-off jackets emblazoned with the infamous FUZZTONES' logo!) tore the place up with rousing renditions of fan favs from the "Lysergic Emanations" and "Live in Europe" albums as well as whippin' out a few surprises (the gang threw in "The Bag I'm In" to feature Vox bassist extra-ordinaire Del Pozzo as well as an updated version of "Cheyenne Rider" (dubbed "Indian Rider" and dedicated to their new pals.). Massimo's band, the Others, provided the music on the second night of the 3-day festival (along with the Hunchbacked Men and the Hypsterz (who did rippin' versions of "Brand New Man" and "Cellar Dweller"). PLUS the Fuzztones did a surprise performance!
The last Italian show was a free concert in the town square of the ancient Southern Italian town, Cosenza. Surrounded by a backdrop of huge ancient buildings and a black sky, the 'Tones ripped through their set like it was 1985 again! Most of the townspeople had probably never seen a live rock'n'roll band before!...can you imagine if the Fuzztones were the FIRST one that you ever saw?! WOW! The place went NUTZ! Oldsters were dancin' in the streets with the young'uns!
The Fuzztones hope to record a new album soon and are currently trying to work-out details. A future tour of Europe is possible! Stay tuned!....

Rudi has begun negotiations with a European distribution company. He hopes to have his new record label's first release out by early Fall 1999. Rumor has it that digitally re-mastered versions of "Leave Your Mind at Home" and "Fuzztones Live w/Screamin' Jay Hawkins" along with 3 live bonus tracks from the original line-up will be released on ONE CD!!! Let's hope this is true!
Be on the lookout for "Yellow, Green, & Purple", the new album by the Others, which features Rudi on one side and Craig Moore (singer & bassist of Gonn, the band that ORIGINALLY did "Blackout of Gretely") on the other which is out on the Misty Lane/ Teen Sound label.
AND you've GOTTA get the current issue of the Misty Lane magazine (MISTY LANE & TEEN SOUND RECORDS c/o:Massimo del Pozzo, L. A. Pascucci , 66 00168 Roma, Post. Ag. 97 Italy) which contains a 45 with 4 ultra-rare live remastered tracks of Rudi's very first band, King Arthur's Quart (See a picture of the band in the Fuzz Gallery) AND an ultra-cool article w/photos that Rudi wrote about his '66-'67 bands, K.O.A. and Rigor Mortis!

The Jaymen "tour" has been confirmed & here are the dates...

ROME - BRANCALEONE Sun 18th APRIL
NAPLES 2oth April
Florence - FLOG AUDITORIUM - 29th April
Trani(Bari) - HYPE PUB 30th April

The NYC reunited line-up of THE FUZZTONES will be playing ONE NITE ONLY at the MOTOR CITY BIKER FESTIVAL on June 4, 1999 in Italy:
"MOTOR CITY" Association Matera,Via Tortorella 3 tel 0338/2557714 Matera is in the south not far from Bari. The real camping will be on the beach..
Misty Lane and Teen Sound Records has released a compilation called "Time After Time" which includes the cut "No Reason To Complain" by Rudi & The Others (recorded in the studio during Rudi's Nov. tour of Italy).
Rudi has also put a new country band together and they are doin' lotsa stuff off "White Trash" as well as lots of new "killin' songs like "I'm Gonna Kill You" by Wynn Stewart and "Pardon Me, I've Got Someone to Kill" by Johnny Paycheck. He has also put a new version of The Jaymen together. Both should be gigging and recording soon.

Rudi's tour went really well!! The Others provided excellent backing and the record that they recorded will be out soon on Misty Lane Records. Rudi is now involved in plans to do recording (and possibly live shows) with Gonn singer/bassist/composer of "Blackout of Gretely". He has also put together the nucleus of a new line-up of the Midnight Plowboys, his country band, and will be playing in the Hollywood area soon.

Rudi has written the definitive story of his teen years in Harrisburg, Penn., playing in garage bands in the late 60's. His story will be included in the next Misty Lane magazine (Pozzo, L.A. Pascucci, 66-00168 Roma, Post. AG. 97, ITALY.), complete with lots of photos of King Arthur's Quart (his band in 1966. See one picture in the Fuzz Gallery) and Rigor Mortis (his band in 1967-1970). If that ain't enough, Rudi has just returned from the recording studio where he spent a good deal of time trying to enhance and equalize mouldy basement tapes of Rigor Mortis. The rare -as - hen's teeth recordings will be included on a 45 in the next Misty Lane magazine!!!

Italy's biggest music 'zine, Bassa Fidelita, not only did an interview with Rudi and a great review of one of the Italian shows and put a photo of him (taken from a live show on the Others tour) ON THE COVER!

German Garagemiesters, BIG BOBBY & HIS NIGHTCAPS have recorded a pretty swingin' version of Fuzztones' classic "BRAND NEW MAN" and it's included on their new Screaming Apple LP. "BIG BOBBY ROCKS & HIS NIGHTCAPS ROLL".

Just found out that the movie Rudi's song "Beersighted" from "(It's A) White Trash Thing" will be featured in has been completed. The makers of the film have put together a website for the flick and have given us the go-ahead to link to it. Here's the address: SAMMYVILLE. "Beersighted" will play while the credits are run at the end of the flick!

A letter from Rudi!
HAPPY HOLIDAZE!
Sunday, January 3, 1999
Hope you're havin' a great holiday vacation!
Cavestomp was amazing! Since we couldn't locate Michael Jay (could you put a message on the webpage that we're trying to locate him?), Deb, Elan & I invited ORIGINAL bassist Randy Pratt to join in. Ira Elliot, who really wanted to be involved, was on tour with Nada Surf, so we used Arthur Padia on drums. It was a great show and alot of fun, and ended with a rousing version of "Psychotic Reaction", featuring Vinny Martell of The VANILLA FUDGE joining in on Fuzzed Out Wailin' Lead while I did a striptease and "gave my guitar a real good".....well, you know...
Got to hang out a little bit with Mark Lindsay (check the Sundazed website for photos), which was a thrill. Also got to hang out with my old friend Sky. The Mysterians did a great job backing him! Next day we went to a record convention and The Pretty Things did an acoustic set there! I got to sit at Phil May's feet and worship the master!!! The Pretty Things played on Sunday night and we went and marvelled! It was the entire '66 line-up, who had recorded the legendary S.F. Sorrow LP (they did 4 cuts from it), and they were amazing!
The Cavestomp gig was so much fun that the NYC line-up MAY record and even do a bit of touring in Europe! We've had offers for some festivals in April, and we're negotiating now.
The tour went really well. We ("Rudi Protrudi & The Others") played in Italy and Germany (3 weeks), doing gigs in Rome, Salerno, Caserta, Brenta, Verona, Pavia, Bologna and Trento (all Italy) and Koln, Nurnberg, Munchen, Lassel, Braunschweig, Ulm, and Stuttgart in Germany. Since the Others have 2 guitarists, I didn't have to play guitar, which freed me up to get a bit wylder. It was alotta fun, and the band was great. We cut 7 songs in a studio, just before the tour, and Massimo (the leader of the Others, as well as the head honcho of Misty Lane magazine, is mixing it now. It should be out in a few months, as an LP with 7 tracks by Craig Moore (the singer for The Gonn <"Blackout of Gretely"> on the other side.
Since Get Hip just released "Hit & Run" by Link Protrudi & The Jaymen, we will be playing around soon to promote it. There will be a change in the line-up, as yet undisclosed.
I checked out the website recently and you're really doin' a great job on it!!! THANKS! Bye! Rudi

The FUZZTONES have broken up! The decision was made during the recording of "Mr. Soul" which was the 'Tones were going to contribute to InBetween Records' Tribute to Neil Young/Bridge School compilation. No plans to release "Revenge of the Creatures That Time Forgot" either. No reason given for the split. I hope that some of you got to see this amazing line-up before their demise!

YEARBOOK DEADLINE!! Ok. This is your LAST CHANCE! If you want to be included in the Cult of Fuzz Yearbook so you can correspond with other FUZZ FREAKS send IGOR your photo & mailing address and any other vital info (including internet site & e-mail address if you have one!) before the end of the year. You can find Igor Trypnick's (Our High Priest) address on the main COF website page.

The Fuzztones played at CAVESTOMP '98 on Nov. 20-21! Rudi, Elan Portnoy, Deb O'Nair, and Randy Pratt played together for the first time in 12 years!! For more on Cavestomp '98, click here I will have more on this soon as well as pictures hopefully!.

Rudi is also shopping his syndicated garage/psych radio show which features him hosting, DJ'ing, and interviewing 60's icons as well as current scene favs! If you know of a radio station that might be interested in this program, contact us and I'll put you in touch with the man himself!

The summer issue of Massimo del Pozzo's super-cool Italian fanzine, MISTY LANE, features a brand new single by the FUZZTONES!!! It includes the MUSIC MACHINE's classic, "People In Me" (featuring MM's SEAN BONNIWELL actually trading verses with Rudi! MISTY LANE is probably the best 'zine on the '60's scene with 80 pages of great graphics and LOTS of interviews with garage pioneers and current bands. For your copy & the FUZZTONES' single, send $10 to: Pozzo, L.A. Pascucci, 66-00168 Roma, Post. AG. 97, ITALY. Tell him that you found out about it on the COF website!

The FUZZTONES opened for ? & THE MYSTERIANS on AUGUST 29th at SPACELAND in LA. The gig was a raving success, even though the opening act, SMALL STONE, stole BOTH of RUDI's guitars! Luckily, he caught them just before they drove off, and "convinced" them to give them back. Q & the M's were AWESOME & rumor has it that that they are gonna record "Action Speaks Louder Than Words" in the near future! Is that too cool?!

Rudi has been in touch w/ Chesterfield Kings' frontman, Greg Prevost, (fellow SUNDAZED RECORDS' artists) and they are talking over possibilities of doing a musical project together.

A special-edition picture-sleeve 3-song 45" should be out now on Sundazed Records. The songs are 1989 not-previously released versions of "One Girl Man", "Gonna Make You Mine", & "You Must Be A Witch" (one of my PERSONAL favs!). Check out their site & email them if you have any questions. They are a great label & will respond!

GET HIP Records has released the Link Protrudi & the Jaymen "Hit and Run" CD which contains both previous released "Drive It Home" and "Missing Links" on ONE CD! Get yours NOW!!!
Rudi & John guested on Sylvain Sylvain's (former New York Dolls member) new album, "Sleep Baby Doll". It's on the indie label "Fishhead Records" out of Cleveland Ohio. John plays on the entire album. Rudi sings back up on a cover of "Come See Me" (I'm Your Man) by The Pretty Things.

The FUZZTONES (with Rudi & Elan Portnoy on guitar, Deb O'Nair on keyboards, and Randy Pratt on bass. Not sure who the drummer will be. Ira Elliot may be on tour with Nada Surf. Will let you know when I hear who it will be.) will be performing at Cavestomp '98 at Coney Island High in NYC on Nov. 20-21. There are many other FUZZtastic bands that are going to appear.
