The Story of O is a Cult Classic of Sadean erotica which was written in the 1950s by a French author known as Pauline Reage. Among my prized O collectibles I count an early printing of the book which originally belonged to a famous Play and Screen Play writer.
The tale was unfortunately followed up with a pale sequel, which only tarnished the majesty of the first book in this reviewer's opinion.
Since then, its evocative herione has been given life in various film projects, ranging from soft-core adult movies to a 10-part series which performed the book's drama virtually word-for-word.
While smitten with actress Corrine Clery from the 1975 version depicted on the Link which brought you to this Page, it is probably safe to say that the thespian who best personified this darling little slave would have to be Claudia Cepeda (See Left Pic). |
