Swell (w/m: J. Porter)
What happened to the person I used to know?
You're not the same person I met a year ago
So many qualities and humility's the first to go
Your modesty's declining with every passing show
Yeah one time I thought the world of you
Looking back now did I even have a clue?
You'd be ashamed if you just looked in the mirror
'Cuz staring right back at you is your greatest fear

So Don't try and tell me that everything's swell (x3)
What happened to your head, and when did it swell?

And now I can't take it any more
Your ego's grown so big and you're always keeping score
Vanity is a deadly disease
You're alienating yourself and you can't even see

It's inevitable that there will be change
And change is good but you're just not the same
I love you too much to watch you destroy yourself
But I can see by now that nothing will ever help
And I can see the effects it's having on your friends
And I can see yourself bringing your own end
And I can ask the question that I always knew:
How many trees had to die so that I could sing about you?

So don't try and tell me that everything's swell (x3)
What happened to your head, and when did it swell?
