Mailyn Manon a.k.a. Brian Warner never seemed to fit in in life. In his younger years in middle school and highschool he would be pushed around, made fun of, and be beaten so bad he would end up in the hospital. As a child his parents made him attend a christian school where he would recieve punishments that are no longer legal now days. Manson would try many times to get kicked out of the school but it just wouldn't work but finally after a long time he would find a way out. After high school Manson would become a journalist for a while and end up meating one of his favorite celebrities Trent Resner the lead singer of nine inch nails. One night at a show Manson would meet a deranged guy who we know as m.w. Gacy/ pogo. The two would become good friends and pogo would become the keyboardest for Manson after he saved up enough money for one. Manson would put together a band with other lost souls in it and the band would go by, Marilyn Manon & the spooky kids. After a while the band would get a chance to get a record contract by Trent's label Nothing records so they took it. They band was asked to tone down there name a little which would be shortening it so the band would then go by just Marilyn Manson. The band would tour with nine inch nails for portrait of an american family and smells like chilldren. After a few years of hard work the band would finally break out in the 1996 release antichrist super star making it to number 3 on the billboards chart and the cd would soon go double platinum. The band would go on for more sucsess and fame in the years to come and are still doing it. |
