This is where the family gathers when they visit, or Cuddly Old Bear comes when
he's home alone, to sit around and talk, relax, watch TV or listen to music.

If the grandchildren want to play, there is a rumpus grotto accessible from within here.
If not, they have to sit quietly while the adults do their thing.

There is a fire burninig in here all year round and the ceiling fan is to circulate the warm air, otherwise it gets
very cold and damp. The acoustics though are fantastic, no distortion or echo. Can't say the same for
the TV reception, it seems to have disappeared altogether. Looks like the rats have chewed through the cable again.
The cat is too well fed to chase them (doesn't even bother the fish) and the dog is far to friendly.

The pic hanging above the fireplace is a photograph of the Hibernation Headquarters.
It still works
....
Good!!
You can never trust an open fire!!
Even the video player is playing up ... load ... eject ... load ... eject ... GRRRR!!!!
She always finds the best place to make herself comfortable.
Got to have that popcorn while watching the tv ... not that there will be much of that going on here by the look of it ... can't eat it while listening to the music!!
Don't go near these!!
They shouldn't be sparking like that.
......... rat's again?
As you see, we fashion our own chairs, they're much more suitable for bears. Bought ones are either too soft or we don't fit into them comfortably.
Pet him and your've made a friend for life.
Hibernation Headquarters
Have to keep the fish away from the fire or their water boils. They're not big enough but to be more than appertizers ... (they'll bite if you stay too long on their bowl)
