| The basic ferret bedding of any cage, the Hammock can be made as small as one ferret big, or big enough to span a cage. They can also be made out any material you want. These will be the easiest beds to do custom size orders. Hammocks can be made out of: fleese, flannel, or cotton materials, and are hung with tripple stitched ribbon or cording with metal hooks. Youre welcome to mix and match fabrics also (ie- flannel or fleece top and cotton bottom). I double layer my hammocks to make sure they're good and solid, with double stitching in the seems and triple stitching on the corners to hold the hangers on tight. | The beds above are examples of beds Ive made for my ferrets. These are some newer ones, but have made it through rough and tumble play time and the washer and dryer quite a few times with no problems. I try to make the hammocks spacious, according to cage allowance so that the ferrets have room to stretch and be comfortable. The two ferrets in the lower left hand image are Amon (bigger) and Aphrodite (smaller), to give an idea of how big those beds are.
