| Webelos are boys in the Fourth, and Fifth grade. They work in a group called a Den, or a Patrol. The difference between a Den and Patrol is the emblem worn on the uniform, and a patrol is more boy run then a Den. A Den or Patrol contains two adult leaders, and up to 10 boys. Webelos 1 are 4th grade boys, Webelos 2 are 5th grade boys. Webelos meetings are planned around the achievements, in the Webelos Handbook. The achievements are called the Webelos Trail. Along the Webelos Trail boys learn skills in the areas of Physical Skills, Mental Skills, Community Skills, Outdoor Skills and Technology Skills. Webelos also earn the Arrow of Light badge, which is the highest achievement a Cub Scout can earn. After Arrow of Light is earned the Scout is ready to join a Boy Scout Troop. |
