Attachment 1 Pack 424 activities guidelines Mission statement: To ensure a safe and fun time for all that participate. The following information is to complement the BSA rules governing activities in the Cub Scout program. In all cases the BSA rules and guidelines take presidents over these. Pack 424 Scouts can participate in activities and be considered in compliance with the pack guidelines only if the following conditions are meet. 1. The Cubmaster and committee are informed of the date and type of activities planned. 2. The coordination of the pack equipment will be made though the Cage master. The first event on the Pack calendar gets priority when it comes to issuing the equipment. 3.The pack equipment will be returned in useable, clean, and serviceable condition. Note: Any broken or unusable items will be reported. 3. Any items used from the 1st aid kit will be noted on the checklist inside the top cover and turned in with the kit. 4. If the activity requires a tour permit it will be completed a minimum of 18 days prior to the event. Note: (Signed only after the required training is verified and a copy is given to the pack to hold until the signed copy is back.) 5. When the signed tour permit is returned, a copy will be given to the COR for CUMC records prior to the event. 6. An after action report will be filed with the committee upon return within a reasonable time unless there is any kind of injury. In the case of any injury the Cub Master or Committee chair will be notified as soon as possible by phone with a follow up written report upon return.
