" . . . just behind France, a state of anarchy called California." - Jonathan Alter and Karen Breslau, Newsweek

Dude. This whole Cruz Bustamante vs. Arnold Schwarzenegger thing is getting on my nerves. I mean . . .

Foremost, Bustamante was FOR Gray Davis . . . Sure, he says he's the backup, but . . . I mean, it's the equivalent to saying, 'Screw Davis . . . His recalls a given. I'm running now!' Way to goOo Democratic Party! Turn on your own! TURN ON YOUR OWN!! What will lie in the future of California, I can only wonder . . .

Furthermore, Bustamante IS, in fact,  the lieutenant govenor, right? Well, doesn't that mean that Davis appointed him? I mean . . . who here can really credit any of his decisions, what with the whole energy crisis thing going on?

Besides, Bustamante, being the lieutenant govenor that he is, SHOULD have had some form of say as to Davis' decisions, right? I mean . . . duh! He's basically the second in command. Hence, if he DID have some say, wouldn't he then be partially responsible for the stuff going on in California? If he was FOR Davis and if he was FOR Davis' decisions, wouldn't that equal a big 'NO, NO!!' for govenor?

OKay. Fine. He HAS had experience, or sOo Stephen says . . . but, what goOd has it done him? California is in the crappiest place it's ever been!

Well, there ARE
135 candidates . . . All hope is not lost! I'm not all for Schwarzenegger, but . . . considering we have Larry Flynt and Mary Carey running . . . He's not seeming like a bad choice right now.

More soO, I believe this whole poll thing is simply demonstrating the Democrats trying to salvage what little control they had over the government.

Whatever. I say down with the whole system. Society sucks. Democratic isn't as democratic as it should be. And this whole recall thing just establishes it.

[August 20, 2003 - Tuesday]

Registration. One of the worst days of the year . . . Seriously. I could smell the stench of humanly secretions mixed up with other forms of sweat and funkified perfume . . . Not only that, but there were these geeky freshmen girls in the back of me who kept giggling and screaming and being all toO overtly happy. It sickens me. I'm pretty sure I was never like that. Ever. Okay. Maybe in elementary skOol. But, even then, I had some type melodramatic situation keeping me from being THAT happy. Happy people should BURN! Muahahaha!!

Worst yet . . . I now have a slot in my schedule. Computer Science II has officially been cancelled. What the hell am I suppose to doO now?!

Someone, please . . . comment!
---> my current choices: business (accounting/marketing), French I, or teacher assistance (T.A.)

I need to make a decision by tomorrow. I think I can stretch it out until to the end of the week before I make an official decision.

AHHH! Neway, Debra's gone, soO, I have no one to talk with but random people who don't REALLY understand my current situation. Besides, I'm probably seriously bothering these individuals. No one wants to hear another person's problems when you have problems of your own, right? sOo . . . crap. I feel bad. What else is there to say?
Crap. Crap. Crap.

"No, you see. It's that Tomino-esque thing to say that it's Gundam but basically it's giant robot anime." - Naota's daddy, FLCL

Sometimes I feel like an Adult Swim commentator . . .

Anyway, did anyone catch that edit in episode six of FLCL? I sure as hell didn't . . . and SOMEBODY hasn't returned my Japanese version of it.

In the meantime, highlight of the day (which was yesterday): watching my brother yell at his Playstation 2. Inanimate objects . . . it's hard when they feel nothing. SoOoO sad. Sad little thing.

In further detail, it was Santuary Keeper or, soO he called, "That bastard!," from Final Fantasy X that kept casting reflect (when Yuna just cast reflect on the enemy) and then curaga. Does that make any sense? Neway, continuing on . . . After spending an  hour (with me fighting half of the battle) and a couple of times restarting, he finally beat the shit out of that guy, noting that he was alsoO shit-beaten himself. Then he toOk another couple of hours fighting Yunalesca and restarted another dozen times before she transformed into her ultimate form. And today? Well, today he is trying to get Tidus' ultimate weapon . . . racing Chocobos . . . A dramatic change from yesterday's aggressive boss fighting atmosphere, ne?

[August 6, 2003 - Wednesday]

"Ohh . . . How deliciously evil-looking . . ." - Stewie, Family Guy

I swear . . . I must have watched that
Johnny Chase commercial at least fifteen times yesterday within an hour time span . . .

Is it just me, or am I the only one who wants to see this turned into a full length film? Damn, product promotions! Aiming at teens . . . and doing a damn goOd job at it, toO! Damn yoU! DAMN YOU!!!!!

Neway . . . Apparently the people at Production IG doing the T-Mobile Sidekick commericial are the same people who were doing the animations for "Ghost in the Shell" and "Blood: The Last Vampire." Least to say the homepage is really glitchy and it doesn't really compare to the actual animation of the commercial. What the hell am I talking about? I just want to see this be turned into a film!

[August 2, 2003 - Saturday]

"Suffer little children" - Controller, Brave New World

I toOk forever to make a Totoro card yesterday . . . First, it lOoked like an owl, then a cat (although, Lorenzo said that Totoro was suppose to be a cat), then magically turned into a flying mushroOm. Now, it just lOoks like a fat bowling pin. I feel sorry for you Totoro . . . sOo very sorry.

[July 30, 2003 - Wednesday]

Sorry. Totally in this Battle Royale phase right now. Well, more of an obsession than anything else. But I'll get over it in a couple of days . . .

In the meantime, some really interesting quotes from the movie.

"Life is a game. So fight for survival and find out if you're worth it!" - Kitano

"Good morning! How is everyone? It's now 6 A.M. Time for sleepy heads to wake up! Here's the list of your dead friends in the order they died . . ." - Kitano
(Damn . . . it'd be hard to wake up in the morning with an announcement like that . . . not to mention the happy classical music in the background.)

"Its tough when friends die on you, but hang in there!" - Kitano

Damn. I really, really want to see the Battle Royale: Special Version. Anyone want to get me it for my birthday?
Which reminds me . . . I've been waiting for 9 months for a birthday gift from my parents. That's just really sad. What ever happened to my fishies?

[July 29, 2003 - Tuesday]

Yipee! Finally got to watch
Battle Royale. You know . . . that movie where little skOol kiddies are given "weapons of mass destruction," and start randomly killing off each other. What a spectacular killing spree! Makes you feel all warm and cozy inside. Aww . . .

Damn . . . Kiriyama Kazuo  is fine . . . such an adorable little psychopath. Not to mention, Souma Mitsuko. She's an even bigger psychopath. She's definitely one of those people who have had many "childhoOd traumas." I mean . . . she castrated . . . umm. Err . . . Better not go there . . .

Neway, Chigusa Takako's  pretty coOl toO . . . not as psychopathic as the others, but, any girl could totally respect what she did to Niida, he being the  pervert that he is. And ya gotta love that crazy loOk she gave him before . . . you know.

Utsumi Yukie is another one of those really cOol charactes who had a lack of screen time in the movie. At least she got a kill before leaving us.

And of coures, Nanahara Shuya! Sure . . . he's one of those totally naive individuals who didn't want to participate in the game but . . . damn. He's just fine.

SoO many cute characters! They're all sOo squishable!

Hmm . . . Now I can't remember what else I was going to write. Ahh, yess . . .

FLCL is going to be on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim starting August 4th. It kind of makes me happy, yet it kind of makes me depressed. FLCL was suppose to be one of those esoteric anime where only dedicated members in the anime community should have been able to watch. Ahh!!!! And YOU JUST KNOW that hence forth, EVERYBODY'S going to know FLCL . . . and it's just going to turn into one of those all toO popular and all toO hated  anime, much like Inuyasha, Sailor Moon, and Dragonball.

Damn it! They're going to ruin my favorite anime! Ahh! The freakin' dubbing . . . nOo! Neway, I'm hoping they doO at least a half way decent job with the dubbing. Don't ruin a perfectly goOd anime!!!!!

(oOps! Sorry . . . my little anime crazed side got the better of me . . .)

Well, I hope you people enjoy . . . I'm going to start crying if Adult Swim edits a bunch of stuff, especially all the sexual inneundos.

Hmm. Makes me wonder if they will ever put Excel Saga on air.

[July 28, 2003 - Monday]

McGriddles are yucky.

I had a lot of yogurt this morning . . . Now I'm just waiting for my Battle Royale to finish downloading.

---> Damn! I had to doOo some serious digital cleanup for the Mitsuko image.

In th meanwhile, here is my hair diary:

July 12, 2003 - Saturday
Day One: black
Day One (Afternoon): burgundy (yuck!)

July 13, 2003 - Sunday
Day Two: still burgundy (and getting seriously depressed)

July 14, 2003 - Monday
Day Three: a lighter burgundy, but still burgundy

July 15, 2003 - Tuesday
Day Four: colors are gradually washing away . . . but it still loOks like a freakin' stop light

July 16, 2003 - Wednesday
Day Five: finally starting to turn brown, but it's still depressing loOking at my hair

July 17, 2003 - Thursday
Day Six: Debra says it doesn't loOk like burgundy . . . but she's a pathological liar

July 18, 2003 - Friday
Day Seven: I'm feeling better

July 19, 2003 - Saturday
Day Eight: Ehh . . . noO dramatic difference.

Hmm. Anyway, I lost count of the days . . . but now it's a toffee color, which is generally a mix between brown and orange. Just like Mr. Salon-person said it would turn out. SoOo, overall, I am happy now . . . But it's gotten much harder to maintain my hair. It always goes this way rather than the other way . . . Neway. Nonsense. Whatever. At least I didn't goO with that clear plastic hair implants idea . . .

[July 10, 2003 - Thursday]

I think was I was going to doOo some homework . . . but then I got preoccupied again. How unfortunate for you homework. How very, very unfortunate . . .

---> goO to
Plastic Earphones to download "Cats on Mars"

"Two permits does NOT equal a license"
- Cher's daddie from Clueless

Well, according to how I theorize the situations which I have undergone since the day a particular hobbit lady jinxed my driving skills, two permits does, in that theory, equal a license. I mean . . . come one! I've been an active driver for two years. Therefore, please stop asking if I drive or not. I dOoOo, in fact, drive, yet, I must have a legal guardian over the age of 25 sitting next to me while I doO soO. Although I am a qualified driver, I suppose I am, according to the laws that beseiges the DMV, still a hazard to the road. Hence, I curse that hobbit lady who subjugates the DMV! Curse yoU! Curse yoU all!!!!!
