| Martha Stewart found GUILTY | ||||||||||||||||||
| Alot of people's TV tends to stray, sometimes, to Martha Stewart's TV show. But now, that figure (the number of people watching) will be drastically reduced. Last week, Martha was found guilty on all charges against her. I find this to be a great victory for the Justice Department who has been taking heat for letting corporate criminals off scott-free. This now just proves how serious the government is now that the Enron scandal happened. At this point, she faces up to 20 years in prison for her transgressions. But odds are, she won't get a year. But even that might be alright, since she will be getting at least some time in jail. That would just go to show other criminals that their crimes will now not go unpunished. After all, if Martha Stewart can be convicted, anybody can. Added on Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at 8:47 a.m. |
