| The Democratic candidates revealed | |||||||||||||||||
| John Kerry Today, polls indicate that John Kerry will beat President Bush if the election were now. The polls may indicate this, but we all know this is completely false. If the Democrats wish to run on the slogan "A new day for Democrats" for any of their candidates, then they must mean "A more liberal Democrat." If they ran the former for Clinton, (and I don't say this easily) then the latter must be true today, since these candidates are more liberal. Aside from the fact that no Congressman has won the Presidency without holding an office in the Executive branch in almost 45 years, there is plenty to keep Kerry from the White House. The first is that he is a hypocrite. he bashes President Bush for taking money from "special interests" but does so himself. In fact, he is the one candidate that took the most money from his "special interests." Another is that he may tout his Vietnam record, but once he got home, he sat with jane Fonda and attacked the U.S. government over the war. He even went as far as to testify before Congress on how wrong the war really was. But make note that he doesn't make mention of this in his speeches. What's more, Kerry opposes the death penalty. In other words, if you kill someone, you can still live a gleeful life knowing that they won't kill you. If murder is so moral that you don't die for committing it, then what is the point of even punishing at all? Does "An eye for an eye" ring a bell? These are just a few examples of how Kerry is not fit to be President. Added on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at 3:04 pm |
