Companies add 112,000 jobs in January
In January, 2004, corporations hired 112,000 employees, dropping the unemployment rate to 5.6%. Analysists expected about 125,000 because of the upbeat economic data and dropping jobless figures. However, for an economy that has lost jobs for a couple years, this was great news. Furthermore, is you look at the Household survey, instead of the Payroll survey (which does not include self-employed or new companies), that figure jumps to about 600,000.

In addition to this news, President Bush recently unveiled a new economic forecast that predicts that this year alone, there will be 2.3 million jobs created. That means that come election day, he will no longer be the only President since Herbert Hoover to loose more jobs than he created. He would come out about even.

This data could really help the President, and that's what we all want isn't it? With this President in office, our agenda can finally be realized, instead of be quashed by the ultra-liberal ACLU.
