I am a Tetris MASTER!!!

Well, self aclaimed that is.  I absolutely love Tetris so I thought I would share some tips and tricks with fellow gamers.  Also I started my tetris obsession at an early age, which may have played a role in my Rubik's cube obsession, so i feel that I must pay tribute to this grand old classic!
The best Tetris game that I have played is for the ancient NES (Nintendo Entertainment System  for those who aren't in the KNOW).  I got this game as a pressent when I was around 7 or 8 years old.  I am 21 now, so I have lots of experience.  Come here my wisdom.
PRE GAME POINTERS
It is always good to go into any Tetris match in good relaxed spirit.  I like to use the standard NES controller and lay belly down on my bed.  I usually clear my room of any distractions, even music.  I find it best to play with just the noise of the game, with the music off of course.  In fact, that is the first thing I do after I power up the game.  I immediately change the music to none.  Not only is the music really bad and annoying it speeds up in times of toil, and often breaks our concentration.  So eliminate the music.  So to some it up:
1. GET COMFY!
2. ELIMINATE DISTRACTIONS
3. TURN OFF THE MUSIC!!!!
CONTROLLERS
I always use just a standard NES controller.  I only use the B button to rotate the pieces because thats what i've been doin since day one.  I think i can B button around a piece faster than using the A rotation once.  But get used to the controller you decide to use and dont change it!  Treat this controller as if it were your baby!
Also you must familiarize yourself with the timing of the controller to the pieces on screen.  You must know exactly how much pressure to put to land a piece with precision accuracy!
"A" MODE ALWAYS!!!
A mode is really the greatest, you can continually play starting at level 0.  That is the only way to play!  Start at 0 and work your way up.  The level blocks in the A mode screen allows you to start on levels 0-9.  If you start at 0 though you can play past level 9.  I got all the way up to level 16!  Picture to come soon!
