With the backlight on it has10 hours of battery life and with the backlight off it gets 18 hours. But you won't need batteries for this because it comes with a rechargeable one! It's the first ever rechargeable battery on a portable gaming platform. Not only that but it's screen is also specialized to reduce glare so you will always have a crisp view of the action no matter what the light situation is. It will be released March 23 in three standard colors- Indigo, Jet, and Platinum, as well as a special Pearl White if you buy the Final Fantasy Tactics Gift Pack for 150.00$.
