Turok has been known for its gore and blood. It�s almost like a copy of 007 only there�s Dinosaurs in it, which makes the game unique. Yes, the game is pretty hard, but there�s these things called strategy guides!!!!! Think. Most people think Turok was crud, but Turok Evolution is new and improved.
Graphics: The graphics on PS2 suck for Turok, personally, I think GC does a better job to the graphics. The background is clean and crisp from a distance, but when you get a close up picture of the background it looks like a Tornado went through it. Overall, the graphics are 7/10 for Turok Evolution.
Sound/Music: Turok has a great variety of music. And the music is great, but sound is another problem the makers faced. The sound is real distorted and choppy, and mostly consists of grunts and dying sounds. Lol. The music is based on a medieval theme, so it has a lot of percussive instruments. Which makes a great addition to this game. I�d give sound and music for Turok Evolution a 5/10
Control: Lol, ive got to admit, the controls are hard. It�s just not right to have the shooting button on R2. But that issue is very minor. If you�re a beginner at this game, I suggest actually reading the instruction manual; trust me it will help A LOT. The big issue is the there are way too many excess control that would have been better off not in the game. Come on, what�s the point of having a control that makes a little sound???? . Control: 6/10.
Gameplay: Your probably thinking TE is a horrible game. But don�t think that, the gameplay is excellent. The story is about a warrior trying to save the world from the mutant dinosaur race called the Treg. While doing that, you encounter dinosaurs that are harmless, and ones that try to rip your heart out. This is what spices of this game. The first 3 levels are straight forward, but after that the game gets very challenging. Another great addition to this game is that you can go on flying missions. The flying missions are just like Star Fox, except you�re on a dinosaur. Gameplay. 9.5/10
Replay: The 1-palyer game will probably get real old after a while. I recommend sticking to multiplayer after u beat the game. Replay. 8/10
Overall: Turok is a pretty good game if u get the hang of it. I recommend renting this game first before you buy it, just to make sure you like it.
