Yes,the game is difficult. If you can't handle that then you need to just, not even bother. The long line of RE games are becoming insane! Not that there was one i disliked *cough*survivor*cough*. RE has never been broken. Well the first one was but i'm talking after that. The series has held its own in a battlefield of marios, links, and GTAs!
What to expect in Zero is a prequal. NO REALLY. All it is, is a souped up version of all the other RE games put together! Much better than REmake. How ever I would like to see the inc ribbons be done away with. Atleast the item system is orginized and makes sense. Usualy there are magical boxes...which seem to appear in odd places in RE games...but now you can place items on the floor and stuff. Alot less back-tracking! This is my faviort Survival Horror game ever. You should look foward to buying or renting this game. There are 2 discs. The first is about 75% of the game. However, the second dosnt get ant easier!
What is so special about this Resident Evil? Well for one the graphics. Rain poors through open spots in the train and you can stomp on puddles. What was really disturbing was when I got ate by a frog. This almost seems like a whole new genre or maybe its just survival horror re-born! The quickest I have seen or heard of one beating the game is 2:45:33. WOW. That is short.
Are the charictors memorable? Well Rebecca is 18, not exactly the idel age. Billy is very cool and makes the game worthwhile. The zombies are awesome! I love the ones who walk through doors! While Billy is good defensivly Becky can combine herbs to make herbal blends!
GRAPHICS: OH! DANDY! How sweet evil is today! The trees look magnificent. The rain and puddles look great. The pre-rendered walls on the train however are a little messed. It's like you are controling real life people in a...N64 game. Well actualy 0 was supposed to be a 64 game. I'm glad we had to wait!
CONTROLS: I hate reviewing Resident Evil or any Survival Horror for that matter. Why? Well, becuase they all control like crap. This game will still be mixing you up even 3-4 hours in! It is terrible! But I cannot complain becuase Capcom is the only company even making an effort to make it better. Sorry Silicon Knights but maybe you can win me back with Too Human?
STORY: Lets consider this as the prequal. Becuase, it is in fact, yes, the prequal. The story is alright. You know what it is, im sure. Everyone is enfected by the T.VIRUS but now you get to see the source. This just thickens the plot even further!
REPLAY: It will be fun for you to try to set your own records on the game and challange others to try to beat them. The game will probably last you a month or two of replay value.
SOUND/MUSIC: Hey capcom faithful! The sounds still kickin' as it used to be! This game is very scarey.
Why its rated Mature (esrb.com)- This game is incredibly scarey. Grown men pee there pants while being devowerd by zombie scum.
Gameplay- You can play Easy-Normal-Hard. They all play out differntly in the difficulty aspect.. You will have to try alot of things to make sure everything is done correctly,such as making a certin charictor do a certin thing that you probably would think of anyways. Even though it is so obvious, you probably want to know which charictor would be btter for the set task. You will have to figure this out.
Final Verdict/closing: Good or Bad? Its good. I loved the graphics. Capcom is working out the controls. I respect them on that. Lets hope they keep on improving like they have been!
OVERALL: BIO HAZARD Zero isn't exactly a walk it the park. It isn't your 200 hour FF game either. It is just right and will keep you there for a long, long time!
