THE DIPLOMACY OF THE DELEGATE. STRATEGIES AND TACTICS. 1892-1895 This work enters into one of the least studied dimensions of José Martí's thought and political duties. It reconstructs the strategies and tactics employed by the Delegate in the promotion of the Cuban Revolutionary Party in Europe, the United States and Latin America and, at the same time, it reveals the foresight of his thought towards 20th Century diplomatic practice. INDEX: In times of war and diplomacy: Background/ The influence on various European countries/ Cuba and the USA/ Our America in Cuba/ Foreign policy of Martí's Republic/ Conclusions/ Name index/ Chronology/ Bibliography. •

Castillo Bernal A chronological essay which encompasses the revolutionary struggle across the length and breadth of the country from the 30th November 1956, including the Granma landing on 2nd December 1956 until the triumph of 'Operation Santiago', 1st January 1959. Moreover, the book comprises an analysis of the coup d´état, the Moncada attack as a response to the coup, an appraisal of ´History Will Absolve Me´ as a programatic document and a study of Fidel´s personality. THE GUNS THUNDERED IN THE SIERRA A compilation of articles on the events of the revolutionary war which took place in the valleys, mountains and cities of Cuba from 1958 until the victory on the 1st of January 1959. The anecdotal character of the events and the innovative style of the author are paramount throughout the book. •
THE BATTLE OF PINO DEL AGUA A small essay defending the theory that this action, fought by the Rebel Army on the 16th of February 1958, was a major battle and not a skirmish as history presumes. The author bases his analysis on documents of the era; records of the tyranny´s army as well as revolutionary documentation, opinions of Fidel, Raúl and Almeida and the military studies of Che, above all his 'Manual of Guerilla Warfare'. •
