HAIL TO THE . . . CUBMASTERS! We move into the next school year with 2 Cubmasters! (Yes, that�s right. Count �em, there are 2.) Tiger Cub Leader, Louie Santiago will be taking on yet another role in Pack 108. Jonathan�s and Devin�s dad will be transitioning to Cubmaster! And that means . . . Doreen will be taking over the helm for the new Wolf Cubs! And, as Matt Pizanie graduates to Boy Scouts at the 2006 Blue & Gold Ceremony, Bill Pizanie will be keeping up with his Boy Scout. We owe a big THANKS TO BILL AND THE PIZANIE FMAILY for his time, effort, energy and leadership in the past, present and next school year and a CUB SCOUT YELL TO THE SANTIAGO FAMILY: CUB SCOUTS ROCK!
Climbing & rising to meet the occasion . . .
If each of us give a few minutes a week, climbing and rising to meet the challenges of today, all our children benefit. There�s only one hitch. YOU have to grab on, pitch in and join the FUN. We need absolutely EVERYONE. Each of us is a leader to our Cub Scouts. While the Scout is the heart of scouting, you are the soul of meetings, events and pack operations. YOUR Scout needs YOUR active involvement to make scouting a memorable experience. There are several opportunities open to you now.
Be a Committee Chair, Den or Assistant Leader, Assistant Cubmaster, Pack Secretary or other volunteer. Make these the best years of your Cub Scout's childhood. Remember that LEADERSHIP IS LEARNED, we�re not born with it. We will work with you in learning the ropes and provide 1-on-1 mentoring, support, materials and any resources available to us. It�s a worthwhile and gratifying experience that�s priceless. And, like all of life, you get what you put into it.
Participate in the gift of giving . . . to your Scout . . . through your ACTIVE LEADERSHIP.
