CUltimate's Home: The Law School Lawn
As the home field of the Catholic University Ultimate Frisbee Club,  the Law School Lawn is the main location for most pickup games played at the university. Games are typically called on weekdays, with occasional disc golf games and midnight ultimate throughout most of the year. A fun and less competitive environment than most fields, the Lawn is the ideal place to break into the game or just go to to have a good time. Sign up for Lawn games HERE.

By Metro: Take the Red Line to Brookland-CUA  Station. Exit on the left side of the station, towards Catholic University. Walk straight up the path into campus, then turn right at the Crough Architecture Building. Stay straight until you hit the Law School Lawn.
From VA: Take I-395 North into the District until it ends at New York Avenue. Turn      right, and then quickly bear right onto M Street. Proceed to the second light, which will be at North Capitol Street. Turn left and drive about 1.5 miles until Michigan Avenue. Turn right and follow     Michigan until the National Shrine (a big church) is on your left. Turn into the        Shrine, then follow that road past the        Shrine on the left and behind the gray       stone building (McMahon Hall). Park in the lot behind McMahon, walk up the path between the red brick dorms and      Hannan Hall, and then proceed down to    the Law School Lawn.
From the East: Take US-50 West into the District, taking the South Dakota Avenue exit. Turn right, then drive about 1.5 miles on South Dakota until Monroe          Avenue, where you will make a left. Stay on Monroe until it merges with Michigan Avenue. Get in the far right lane, and quickly turn right into the entrance to the Basilica of the National Shrine (a big church). Drive past the Basilica, behind the gray stone building in the distance. Park in the lot behind McMahon Hall, walk up the path between the red brick dorms and Hannan Hall, and then proceed to the Law School Lawn.
From the West: Take I-66 East into the District until it empties into Constitution Avenue. Turn left on Louisianna Avenue. At the fifth light, turn left onto North Capitol Street. Continue on North Capitol for 2 miles until Michigan Avenue. Turn right onto Michigan, and continue on it until you reach the National Shrine (a big church), where you should make a left into the Shrine's entryway.  Drive past the Basilica and behind the gray stone building in the distance. Park in the lot behind McMahon Hall, walk up the path between the red brick dorms and Hannan Hall, and then proceed to the Law School Lawn.
WAFC Clique League's Home: The Anacostia Fields
Other Important Notes: No kleets are to be worn on the Law School Lawn, so be sure to leave those behind. Campus security is just a little touchy from time to time about the whole kleet issue... its better not to even bring them, so as to avoid any unpleasant situations.
Home to the WAFC clique league in the spring and fall, Anacostia gives new meaning to the words "waterlogged" and "dustbowl." Depending on the weather the night before, the fields can either be a mush of mud and water or a swirling cloud of dust. And don't forget the oh-so-wonderful rocks and pits that pock the fields. Still, Anacostia holds a special place in CUltimate's heart as its home away from home each Saturday during the spring and the fall. Just watch for the syringes!
By Metro: Take the Blue Line to Potomac Avenue Station. Upon exiting the Metro, take a left on Pennsylvania Avenue. Continue along this road for about 4 blocks, crossing over the bridge. Once on the other side of the bridge, go to the fields on your left, with the front fields being the near fields and the back fields being those behind the skating rink.
From CUA: From Catholic University, take a left onto Michigan Avenue. Turn right onto South Dakota Avenue (if you reach a Shopping City... abort, ABORT). Stay on South Dakota until it joins with a highway, where you should stay in the right lane. Take the Kennilworth/ I-295 Exit. For the love of God, don't miss that exit... or have fun in Baltimore. Merge onto I-295 South. After a few miles, take the Pennsylvania Avenue exit and stay in the far right lane. Take a right just before the gas station, go a block, and then turn right at the four-way stop. This will lead you under I-295 and into Anacostia National Park. Turn right at the river and proceed all the way down to the parking areas by the Pavilion. Give yourself a pat on the back for correctly following these directions (unless you wind up in Maine.. in which case, take the cyanide pills we gave you at the first practice).
