		Ok, so here is the background on this post from Jake. Apparently the Dixie Chicks were doing a concert in England and there was some anti-war/anti-Bush protests there. So the Dixie Chicks apparently joined in and started ripping on Bush and his foreign policy. So, in the aftermath, a bunch of rednecks got pissed off and burned their CDs at Dixie Chick hating parties (I have been trying to organize one of those for years, just not for this reason). So, here is what Jake has to say about it. -- Citizen D
			This whole Dixie Chick's fiasco is the biggest crock of horse shit i have ever heard. This is Fucking America, is it not?  Every day, in every town, people talk down about the Government and our dumb ass fucking idiot of a president (oops, i did it right there).  To say that this is any different is just plain ignorant.  This is no different than any newspaper columnist or news personality expressing an opinion regarding the president or any aspect of our government.  The complaint is that the Dixie Chicks were representing America while giving a concert in England.  Well god help us the day that the Dixie Chicks are ambassadors to the US when traveling around the world.  The dixie chicks are a fabricated band made popular by crafty marketing by their record label.  They are no better a musical talent than n-sync or citizen D's personal favorite Shania Twain.  However, their talent, or lack there of, is not what is the iss ue, obviously they have none.  The issue is that people are missing the big picture, why the hell can't this ridiculous excuse of a musical band just say whatever they want.  Isn't that what free speech is all about.  Apparently not in the redneck community. I think it is summed up best by the head honcho DJ at am radio station WDAF 61, (I'm a big dumb kunery sombitch), country, David Lawrence.  He says this is a disgrace to country music and to Americans and it will probably be the end of their career.  Well ye haw!!  you dumb shit.  Since when is exercising ones right to free speech cause to end their career.  Just because the people who listen to the chicks are dumb ignorant country sombitches who are completely missing the irony.  We are on the brink of war to supposedly defend such freedoms (and oil of course) and these idiots are chastising the chicks for expressing it.  Everyone knows that Bush is a big fat idiot, and if I were from Texas, I would be embarrassed that he was from my state as well. So I say this to the Dixie Chick's, you can't sing for shit, but good for you for saying what we all know.  Our President is a dumb ass!!!   ( I sure hope no body boycotts me since i said something bad about the pres.  after all he is President Bush, not King Bush)
