| MY, HOW ALARM CLOCKS SUCK | ||||||||||
| I had quite a large problem this morning, for some unknown reason, my alarm clock did not wake me up this morning and I ended up missing three of my morning classes. While I am sure the classes I missed were so intellectually stimulating that there was no way I would have fallen asleep in them, it still pisses me off to no end. Is it not true that the alarm clock is one of the most frequently used but also most hated inventions of the past 100 years. I mean there is a reason that the word "clocks" is an L away from "cocks" --its because we hate them. I really think there is a better way to get up in the morning since we all have to do it at one time or another. I mean how fucked up is it that we set this thing to make the most annoying noise imaginable at the crack-ass of dawn everyday. Whenever it goes off, if you are anything like me, you would rather kill yourself than have to listen to it make that pseudo-buzzing noise for three more seconds. Throughout the last 100 years we have beaten smallpox, invented modern flight, built skyscrapers, and made a million other technological advances, yet when it comes time to get woken up in the morning, this is the best that humanity has to offer? I find that hard to believe, there must be a better way. I always thought that a "fellatio good-morning" would be a welcome wake-up call but I have yet to find an obliging partner, but who would wake her up???..that fucking alarm clock, thats who...so no good. I am at a loss, I have no suggestions, all I know is that this problem has to be solved, so if you have any suggestions, please leave them in the guestbook. -- Citizen D |
