Sometimes I find it �cute� to use a female pronoun, but this guy did it every fucking time. I prefer myself to use him/her�sure it may be a labor and make for more typing, but at least its fair that way. There are certain things that we agree upon in society and language. One is that anything that is arbitrary should be referred to as masculine. For example, we say that we are the race of Man, not of Woman. That doesn�t mean that we are leaving out women because they are stupid or lesser, it just means that we didn�t want to say �race of Men and Women� because that would sound fucking dumb. Another example is in other languages, such as Spanish, if there is a group of 99 girls and one guy, we refer to that as a masculine group, not because we think that one man is more valuable than 99 women, its just that it is easier to define that way.
So anyway, this dildo stood up there and continued to do this over and over. It was as if he was saying �Hey, ladies, listen to me, I am being cute and using feminine pronouns instead of masculine ones because I am one of the good guys, don�t hate me, I�m with you sisters.� But the point is that if he hadn�t made such a point of doing it, it would have gone unnoticed, I doubt the intelligent women in my class, even the Femi-Nazis would not have thought once about that fact that he used all masculine pronouns. I guess this guy thought that for all the years of oppression that women have faced, that he was going to give them restitution one pronoun at a time�what a douche-bag.
