And they were singing...
CTY is all about the awesome people and the TRADITIONS. Traditions like Bathrobe Thursday, Drag Day-the 2nd Tuesday of the session, Goth Day-2nd Thursday methinks, etc. But one of the most important traditions, or at least one of my favorites, is the Canon. The Canon is a group of songs that are meant to be played at every dance. According to my brother, a CTY Lancaster alumnus, the canon was just 10 songs for quite a long time. Well, not anymore. Various students' and RAs' tastes have come together to produce this group of approximately 40 songs. So here's the list as I see it.

Some of these songs can hold their own, even outside of CTY. Others are only tolerable because of the memories linked to them. So many one-hit-wonders. Oh, and all shalt bow before TMBG, for they are awesome and mighty.
